What is Risen?
Risen is a single-player fantasy-themed action role-playing game, developed by the German company Piranha Bytes and published by Deep Silver.
Risen is set on Faranga island, the visual of which is inspired by Sicily. The environment is mostly mountainous, with different climates and Mediterranean vegetation. The island is dominated by an active volcano and inhabited by a wide variety of creatures; the island has buildings and suggestive names from the Spanish Inquisition in Sicily and the Norman period.
There are two main settlements on Faranga: Harbor Town, under the rule of Bandit chief Don Esteban, and the Monastery, where mages and scholars study and research magic. Dotting the islands are small settlements and farms, as well as lone dwellings of hunters and druids.
After mankind used magic to drive away the gods ruling them, they inadvertently unleashed the Titans, ancient beings previously sealed away by the Gods. On Faranga island, ancient temple ruins spontaneously rise from the ground, providing access to a network of interconnected underground areas such as catacombs and dungeons.
The player technically has access to most of the island right from the beginning of the game. However, the paths leading further into the island are almost always blocked by numerous wild creatures that can easily overwhelm and kill a beginner character. After the player character acquires better skills and equipment, he can explore the island with much more freedom.
Risen has smaller areas that can't be accessed until later. Creatures do not respawn in the first part of the game, but do so in later parts. The island is also said to contain easter eggs.
Risen is an action RPG with a strong focus on combat. The combatants, including the player and enemies, has access to different attack moves, as well as parries, blocks, and dodges.
Whether an attack connects depend on the positioning of the combatants, the usage of shields (without shields, player cannot block projectiles or attacks from shorter creatures) as well as the nature of the attack (stronger attacks can knock aside shields, leaving the target open for follow up strikes; magic attacks cannot be blocked, etc.).
Players have access to a wide array of weapons divided into 3 melee types (swords, axes and staves) and two ranged types (bows and crossbows). Most weapons have a minimum Stat requirements (typically Deterity for bows, and Strength for the rest of the weapons).

What is The Talos Principle?
The Talos Principle is a first-person puzzle video game created by the Croatian developer Croteam and published by Devolver Digital. The game features a philosophical storyline. It takes its name from Talos of Greek mythology, a giant mechanical man who protected Europa in Crete from pirates and invaders. Other names taken from mythology and religion and used in the game include Elohim, Gehenna, (John) Milton, Samsara, and Uriel.
The Talos Principle is a narrative-based puzzle game, played from a first- or third-person perspective. The player takes the role of a robot with a seemingly human consciousness as they explore a number of environments that include over 120 puzzles. These environments interlock greenery, desert, and stone ruins with futuristic technology.
The puzzles require the player to collect tetromino-shaped "sigils" by navigating mazes and overcoming obstacles within them. These include computer-controlled drones that will detonate if they are too close to the player and kill them, and wall-mounted turrets that will shoot down the player if they get close.
If the player dies this way, they are reset to the start of the specific puzzle. Drones and turrets can be disabled using portable jammer units, which can also disable force-field walls that block the player's path.
As the player collects sigils and completes more puzzles, new puzzle elements become available. Portable crystalline refractors allow the player to activate light-based switches. Boxes let the player climb to higher levels or to block the path of drones, among other factors, and large fans that can launch the player or other objects across the puzzle.
Later, the player gains access to a device that can create a time recording of their actions, such that they can then interact with this recording to complete tasks, such as having the clone stand atop a switch to keep it activated for some time.
The player's progress through the game is limited by doors or other security systems that require the collection of a number of specific sigil pieces. Once the sigils for a given door or system have been obtained, they must then use the sigils to assemble a tiling puzzle to unlock that system. Special star sigils can be found by unique solutions to some puzzles, allowing the player to access additional puzzles.

What is Persona?
Persona is a role-playing video game developed and published by Atlus. It is the first entry in the Persona series, itself a subseries of the Megami Tensei franchise, and the first role-playing entry in the series to be released in the west. The story focuses on a group of high school students as they are confronted by a series of supernatural incidents.
After playing a fortune-telling game, the group each gain the ability to summon Personas, the multiple selves within them. Using this power under the guidance of Philemon, a benevolent being representing humanity's subconscious, the group face off against multiple forces that threaten the world.
Gameplay revolves around the characters navigating environments around their town and fighting enemies using their Personas. During the course of the game, the player can create new Personas for battle using spell cards gained in battle or by talking with enemies.
Persona is a role-playing video game in which the player takes control of a group of high school students. A mixture of navigation styles are used: navigation round the students' hometown is done using an overhead view, navigation of standard environments such as outside areas and story locations use an angled third-person view, and dungeons and most buildings are navigating in first-person.
An icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen displays a lunar phase: this display shows the passage of in-game time, and its status determines the activity patterns and moods of enemy demons.
Battles are both triggered by story events and through random encounters around the world map and dungeon environments. If the player attacks an enemy from behind, the party is given a set of attacks costing no magic points or health points.
Battles take place on a grid-based battle arena, with characters and enemies moving according to their position on the grid. Four commands are available to the party: Attack (fight enemies), Contact (talk with an enemy), Analyze (check an enemy for its strength and weaknesses), and Form (rearrange the party on the grid).
The character's main means of attack is their Persona, beings summoned into battle to cast a spell that can heal the party, and inflict physical or elemental damage on an enemy.

What is The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker?
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is an action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for the GameCube home video game console. The tenth installment in The Legend of Zelda series, it was released in Japan in December 2002, in North America in March 2003, and in Europe in May 2003.
The game is set on a group of islands in a vast sea, a departure for the series. The player controls series protagonist Link as he attempts to save his sister from the sorcerer Ganon and becomes embroiled in a struggle for the Triforce, a sacred relic that grants its holder's wishes.
Aided by allies including pirate captain Tetra – an incarnation of Princess Zelda – and a talking boat named the King of Red Lions, Link sails the ocean, explores islands, and traverses dungeons to acquire the power necessary to defeat Ganon. Like the previous games, The Wind Waker features a targeting system allowing Link to "lock on" and constantly face an enemy or target. Onscreen meters track Link's health and magic; Link can expand his health meter by finding "heart containers" and container pieces in the game.

Dark Souls III is an action role-playing video game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
Dark Souls III is an action role-playing game played in a third-person perspective, similar to previous games in the series. According to lead director and series creator Hidetaka Miyazaki, the game's gameplay design followed "closely from Dark Souls II".
Players are equipped with a variety of weapons to fight against enemies, such as bows, throwable projectiles, and swords. Shields can act as secondary weapons but they are mainly used to deflect enemies' attacks and protect the player from suffering damage.
Each weapon has two basic types of attack, one being a standard attack, and the other being slightly more powerful that can be charged up, similar to FromSoftware's previous game, Bloodborne. In addition, attacks can be evaded through dodge-rolling. Bonfires, which serve as checkpoints, return from previous installments.
Ashes, according to Miyazaki, play an important role in the game. Magic is featured in the game, with a returning magic system from Demon's Souls, now known as "focus points" (FP). When performing spells, the player's focus points are consumed. There are two separate types of Estus Flasks in the game, which can be allotted to fit a players' particular play style.
One of them refills hit points like previous games in the series, while another refills focus points, a feature new to the game. Combat and movements were made faster and more fluid than Dark Souls II; as several player movements are performed more rapidly, allowing more damage to be done in a shorter period of time.
Throughout the game, players encounter different types of enemies, each with different behaviors. Some of them change their combat pattern during battles. New combat features are introduced in Dark Souls III, including weapon and shield "Skills", which are special abilities that vary from weapon to weapon that enable unique attacks and features at the cost of focus points.
The game places more focus on role-playing; the expanded character builder and improved weapons provide the player with more tactical options. The game features fewer overall maps than its predecessor Dark Souls II, but they are larger and more detailed, which encourages exploration.
The adaptability stat from Dark Souls II was removed in Dark Souls III, with other stats being adjusted. The game features multiplayer elements like the previous games in the series.

We Happy Few is an action game played from the first-person perspective that includes elements of stealth and survival games. In single-player mode, players control one of three characters in the game's three different acts, each having their own skills and abilities, and their own reasons for escaping the village of Wellington Wells.
There is Arthur Hastings, a well-balanced character adept at crafting weapons; Sally Boyle, adept at sneaking and crafting chemical concoctions; and Ollie Starkey, a strong melee fighter adept at crafting powerful explosives.
The game uses procedural generation to create the layouts of some parts of the game world at the start of each playthrough. Each Act presents the player with a main story goal, with a series of main quests to follow, but several optional side quests can also be completed to gain additional rewards.
Completing objectives can earn the player-character rewards as well as skill points which the player can allocate among a skill tree to improve the character's attributes or give them new abilities.
Throughout the game, the player can collect melee weapons, items, food and drink, and wealth. Items are used to craft various tools to help progress in the world or medication, like lockpicks or healing salves. Food is used to maintain nourishment or thirst; staying nourished improves certain character attributes, while being hungry or thirsty can negatively impact these attributes.

SteamWorld Heist is a turn-based strategy shooter developed by Swedish video game developer Image & Form. The third installment of the SteamWorld series and the sequel to SteamWorld Dig.
SteamWorld Heist has the player control Captain Piper Faraday, a smuggler and occasional pirate, as she recruits a ragtag team of robots and sets out on a space adventure. The objective of the game is for players to board, loot, and shoot their way through enemy spaceships.
SteamWorld Heist is a side-scrolling strategy game with focus on skill rather than chance. The core gameplay consists of recruiting a team of steam-driven robots, boarding enemy spaceships and taking down rivaling robot factions in turn-based shootouts. A majority of the game's levels are procedurally generated.
In battle, the player controls the aiming of all firearms and can bounce bullets off the environment for ricocheting trick shots. As the game progresses, players can upgrade and customize their robot crew with different abilities, weapons, and hats. What is Hollow Knight?
Hollow Knight is a Metroidvania video game developed and published by Australian studio Team Cherry. The game was initially released for Microsoft Windows in February 2017, and later for macOS and Linux in April 2017.
The game tells the story of a titular Knight, on a quest to discover the secrets of the long abandoned insect kingdom of Hallownest, whose depths draw in the adventurous and brave with its promise of treasures and answers to ancient mysteries.
Hollow Knight's gameplay is primarily focused on exploration, platforming and combat. Players explore a large interconnected world using a variety of movement and combat techniques.
In classic Metroidvania style, there are areas of the world that the player cannot access until they obtain particular items or abilities. Maps for each area can be bought from the cartogragher, Cornifer, generally hidden somewhere within the zone.
Cornifer leaves small hints that leads to his location such as scattered pieces of paper and a hum that can be heard while in the area. The player can also buy upgrades that place markers on the map or allow them to reveal parts of the map as they explore. Saving the game can only be done on benches to rest on found throughout the world.
The game's combat is focused around using the Knight's nail, a weapon that resembles a sword, to strike enemies above, below, or to left and right. The nail can be upgraded to do more damage as the game progresses and can also gain special attacks by focusing energy. Many areas have a 'boss' enemy that the player must defeat in order to continue, and there are a number of sub-bosses that drop useful rewards or upgrades.
Defeated enemies drop Geo, a currency that the player can use to buy items from shopkeepers. Striking enemies also earns the player SOUL, a resource that can be used to either heal from damage or unleash special abilities such as long range spells and blasts.
If the player is killed, they respawn at the last place they rested/saved, lose all their Geo and the ability to hold the maximum amount of SOUL. They must then return to where they died and defeat their Shade in order to recover the currency and SOUL limit.

Combat is challenging and unforgiving. You’ll need to carefully study your enemies, rather than blindly rushing and wildly swinging your weapon without focus. Study their attack patterns and weaknesses, then strike hard and fast – even the weakest of enemies can be deadly!
Thanks to the dynamic targeting system, you can aim at your opponents’ specific limbs to dismember them, in order to loot or craft the attached equipment. Go for the easy kill by hitting unarmored limbs, or attempt to claim a piece of equipment from the enemy by targeting a specific area. Balancing your need to survive against your desire for new equipment is key to moving through the CREO complex.
As an employee of CREO, you are fitted with an exo-suit intended for industrial work inside the CREO complex. This base rig can be enhanced with light, medium, or heavy attachments, allowing you to specialize into your chosen playstyle.
