How to Stop Alcohol, Marijuana, Gambling & Food Cravings For Ever?
Visit this page: https://www.abbyeagle.com/articles/rem-nlp4-submodalities.php Book a free 20 minute Skype or Zoom session. This video is the fourth in a series of my exploration into NLP, Hypnotherapy and Meditation. In this video the focus is on submodalities and hypnosis in helping people to beat their addictions to cigarettes, marijuana, alcohol, junk food and gambling.
Richard Bandler was very much into shifting submodalities to bring about rapid change. He had a procedure for changing beliefs where you elicit the submodalities for a negative belief, a weak belief - something that is neither here nor there, and a strong positive belief. The task was to shift the unwanted negative belief into the smd’s of something that is neither here nor there – and shift the new belief into the smd’s of a strong belief.
So in working with cigarette smokers what I did for a while was to elicit the submodalities for the belief that it was difficult to stop smoking and shift that into the submodalities of something easy to stop – so then they at least had the belief that smoking was easy to stop. But I don’t do that anymore. I have much better ways to help addicts build the belief that they have what it takes to change their bad habits. But more about that later. Anyway I spent a lot of time eliciting submodalities with my clientele – I learned a lot that way and you can too.
What I should mention here is that you need to carefully sequence your techniques within suitable preframes and end frames if you want to get rapid long lasting change. A single NLP technique by itself does not usually get long term results – it is how you sequence the technique within appropriate frames of mind that gets the result. The same goes for great artists – they have to bring a lot of skills together in the right sequence to create a masterpiece.

TITLE: God the Greatest Misunderstanding in the History of Mankind
DESCRIPTION
In 1984 I took Sannyas with Osho, a contemporary mystic, and soon after was introduced to NLP and Hypnotherapy. Osho gave me a breadth and depth of knowledge about religion, and an experience of meditation that I would never have been able to find through normal channels. Most importantly, Osho taught me not to rely upon borrowed knowledge but to make your own existential inquiry into truth – to challenge everything for the ultimate Truth – and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Hypnosis gave me the tools to do just that.
I have attempted to present to the reader a new way of understanding faith healing, placebo, mind-body healing, conscious mind, unconscious mind, ego, religion, spirituality, channelling, angels, god, devil, heaven, hell, near death experiences, spiritual experiences and enlightenment – from the framework of NLP, hypnosis, meditation and the science of flow states.
The book was written over a period of eight years which gave me time to continually update the notes until it takes the form that you see it now. It explores the concept that we are the meaning maker – that we are the one who give meaning to events that occur in the world; we are the one who gives meaning to the experiences that we have, and to the experiences that others have – meaning is not inherent in the event – we create the meaning – we are the meaning maker. Sometimes that meaning serves us, sometimes it does not. Sometimes that meaning serves us but does not serve others.
The book explores the process of giving prestige, of adulation and worship. Of how we may be too quick to create fiction and fantasy based upon ideas that we hold in mind. Of how we may be looking in the wrong direction to find God. However, this book is not a book about God – it is a book based upon my own existential experience.
I wrote the book, in part because it maps out my own personal inquiry into truth – and
because I want to help wake people up to themselves such that they might realise their true potential – whether you call that Self Realisation, Enlightenment or Self Actualisation. Abby Eagle

Take a look at the NLP Peace Mapping online course - and learn how to unleash the power of the NLP Meta Model:
https://www.abbyeagle.com/myshop/proddetail.php?prod=OC-14
The NLP Meta Model has three categories. Distortions, generalisations and deletions. And using the acrostic MLCCP UM NUS to help us memorise it we get:
A. DISTORTIONS
1. Mind Reading
2. Lost Performative
3. Cause and Effect
4. Complex Equivalence
5. Presuppositions
B. GENERALISATIONS
6. Universal Quantifiers
7. Modal Operators
C. DELETIONS
8. Nominalisations
9. Unspecified Verbs
10. Simple Deletions
So far we have covered Mind Reads, Lost Performatives, Cause and Effect, and Complex Equivalence. In this session we look at Presuppositions.
A Presupposition is the condition or element in a statement which has to be true in order for the sentence to make sense. But if we accept the presupposition then we may accept something that is true or something that is false. For example, "The cat sat on the mat.", presupposes that there is such a thing as a cat and such a thing as a mat. In addition it presupposes there is a process which we call sitting.
We challenge a Presupposition to get specific details and learn the truth of the matter. For example, in the statement, "The cat sat on the mat.", the questioning method could be, "How do we know if that is even true? Is there actually a cat, is there a mat? Who made that statement? Is this person a reliable and honest witness?”
And then we could challenge the Unspecified Referential Index and ask, “Which cat specifically? And when and where? Show me the evidence?” And we could challenge the Unspecified Verb and ask and, “How specifically did the cat do the process of sitting on the mat?"
For a detailed list of presuppositions read The Structure of Magic Appendix B, by Richard Bandler and John Grinder, 1975.
Example 1
So now let’s explore some more examples. An advertisement states, "We serve healthy low fat meals", presupposes that meals are served; that the meals are healthy according to someone's criteria and that low fat is healthful.
Use any suitable meta model question to challenge each and every element in the statement, for example. "Healthy in what way? Healthy according to whom? What type of fat specifically? Are low fat meals healthy for everyone or just some people?

Learn how to set a stretch goal using Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and create a winners mindset. The purpose of setting a NLP stretch goal is to take yourself to the edge of your mental map of what you think is possible. If a goal is too easy then it may induce boredom - if the goal is too extreme then it could induce anxiety - but if you set a goal which is just beyond what you are comfortable in doing then it stimulates the neuro transmitters in the brain that help get you into a flow state - which is an optimal state of consciousness in which you perform at your best such that you are motivated to commit to taking action on the steps and stages that are required for you to achieve your desired outcome.
In this Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) video I am going to show you how to set a stretch goal in a way that is a bit different to how people normally do their goal setting.
In NLP you learn how to set goals not so much from what you have achieved in the past but from from what your future self tells you is possible. Pseudo orientation in time was a method used by Milton H. Erickson, the famous American Medical Hypnotherapist. It was later explicated in the NLP communication model.
Dr Tad James, NLP Trainer - developed a procedure called, Proactive Goal Setting. Roger James Hamilton who developed the Wealth Dynamics personality test also uses the same pseudo orientation pattern with great success. Roger talks in terms of your Future Self. Of orienting yourself out into the future and asking your future self what you should do - that is your future self becomes your mentor - becomes your NLP Life Coach.
Orienting your self to after the successful completion of a goal is a method that can be adapted to achieving success in many areas of your life - business, personal, relationships, sport, etc. It is also particularly effective for those who feel anxious about the future. By orienting oneself to after the successful completion of an event one is able to connect with future resources and bring them back to now. So if you want to learn how to speak with confidence to an audience or if you want to overcome a fear of flying, then part of the solution is to take yourself (in your mind) to a satisfactory end point - and then hold this thought in mind when you next think of going on stage or flying.
In the film, The Secret, they have you visualise a goal. Visualising a goal is useful but not as important as mapping out the steps and stages that you need to follow to get the desired result.

In this video I am going to give you some insights into how to increase your motivation and drive. In my recent videos I have covered: What is NLP. Finding your values. How to set a goal and commit. So in this video let’s take a more detailed look at how to increase your motivation and drive. We do this by doing a contrastive analysis.
Let’s start by exploring some areas where you may have been or still are highly motivated. So remember a time when you were single – you met someone to whom you were sexually attracted. And all you could do was think about this person – they occupied your thoughts – you were obsessed with this person. Then you got into a sexual relationship with them. The obsession continued but then over a period of time the energy settled down – the intensity is no longer there. So if the only reason you got together with that person was sex then when the sexual desire cools then you will find yourself losing interest and searching for another lover.
However, if that person also fulfils other values – higher values then even when the sexual desire cools down you may find the relationship to be even more fulfilling than before. The same goes with the goals that you set for yourself. You need to structure the project in such a way that you sustain the interest and the drive.
Now some people seem to set goals based upon what others are doing. So if in your culture having a big house with a swimming pool and a Ferrari in the garage is important then you may spend decades striving to buy these items with the associated lifestyle only to find that soon after acquiring them that you feel empty – because they were not important to you in the first place – what you did was to fulfil someone else’s values.
That is why I place so much importance on doing future selfing exercises and mapping out your own values. Because as you periodically look back on your goal setting you will come to gain an understanding of what is of real importance to you. – and what we are after is congruence. So let’s get down to the nitty gritty of increasing motivation and drive.
List Blocks and Obstacles
First off – make a list of all the blocks and obstacles in your life. What slows you down, blocks you and gets you into that stuck mode? Perhaps you don’t feel good about yourself? Perhaps you think you don’t deserve to be a success? Or there might be a fear of what could happen if you were to become a success? As you address and clear these blocks you will find your motivation and drive increasing. So right now pause the video and make a list of all the things that slow you down – the things that block you – the negative thoughts that come to mind – the reasons why you can’t be 100% motivated. If you write your notes on a big piece of butchers paper then you can ask yourself questions about each of the blocks and using questions, statements and commands – and writing your notes on the butchers paper - you should be able to make some progress and free yourself up. Keep in mind I can help you to clear those blocks using NLP procedures. Watch the video - and feel free to contact me from my website. https://www.abbyeagle.com

NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) gives you a way to map out the structure of your life and the processes that you use to maintain the negative behaviour (bad habit / addictive behaviour). NLP gives you the tools to access and mobilise your inner resources and outer resources such that you can progressively move towards your desired outcomes and build a better future for yourself. Hypnosis is a means for you to build a communication channel with your unconscious mind and direct your unconscious mind to banish addictive patterns and bad habits - and then to access resource states such as confidence, love and happiness and have those feelings be in all those situation which would be useful for you. NLP and Hypnosis combined give you powerful tools to master your mind, body and emotions and achieve whatever you want to achieve in life.

The psychology of the Millennial tragedy.
In this video I would like to share some of my insights into the millennial tragedy and offer some solutions. The definition of a millennial is those people in the 18-36 age bracket in 2017.
These are the snowflakes – the children who were so precious that their parents would not let them walk to school alone. These are the young adults who now demand that the world pander to their every fear, their every whim and their every emotion. Why? Because they are special. So how did they get to be this way?
1. Cultural Marxism.
2. Parental Fear.
3. The ego.
At the centre of this is the ego. When a baby is born it becomes the centre of attention – not just because it is a beautiful human being but because it is unable to take care of itself. When the baby is hungry it cries – mummy or daddy comes running. When the baby is scared it cries – mummy or daddy comes running. By two years of age the infant believes that it is the centre of the universe but all being well another sibling challenges that. At school the child soon learns that there are other people in the world. Overtime the child learns to relate to other human beings in a more balanced way. Sometimes the attention is on self and sometimes on other.
But when the parents drive the child to school, when they pick the child up, when they drive the child to after school activities, when the teachers constantly watch over the child – it reinforces the belief that:
- The world is a dangerous place.
- The child is not capable of learning how to take care of itself.
- And that the child is the centre of the universe.
Some of the errors the parents and teachers made were:
1. To constantly remind the child that they were the most important person in the world.
2. That the child could have whatever they desired – no matter how unrealistic that might be.
3. And to give every child a prize. Why did they do that? One reason is because the empathic teacher could not bear to see little Johnny feeling dejected for losing a race. But the real reason is because the Cultural Marxists aim to destroy individuality. The Cultural Marxists want everyone to be equally stupid. But there is a solution.

I am sure you have seen this type of meme on Facebook. They show you a complicated looking series of numbers and state that if you can solve it that you must be borderline genius.
7 + 3 = 41021
8 + 6 = 21448
4 + 1 = 354
9 + 5 = 41445
14 + 2 = 121628
18 + 7 = 1125126
If you accept the presupposition then you will never solve the problem. So what is a linguistic presupposition? A presupposition is the condition or element in a statement which has to be true in order for the sentence to make sense.
So, the cat sat on the mat.
For this sentence to be true there has to be a cat and a mat. Let’s say there is a real cat – and a politician tells us that the cat sat on the mat. If we accept that statement as true then we have created in our mind a thought - that there is such a thing as a mat and a cat – and that the cat sat on the mat. (But what if there is no cat – what if there is no mat?) The mat may or may not exist in reality. And the cat may or may not in reality have sat on the mat.
If you accept the deception – the fraud of 7+3=41021 then where else have you accepted deception? Where else in your life have you been lied to? Do you accept what your politicians tell you? Do you accept what the Banks tell you? Do you accept what your religious teachers tell you? Do you accept what the books on history tell you? Do you accept what the Media tells you? Or do you become a majority of one and learn to challenge everything for the truth?
Now NLP gives us a number of tools to do just that. One of our primary tools is the NLP Meta Model. Once you have watched this video make sure you run through the series of videos I created on the NLP Meta Model – then you will understand what I am trying to show you in this video.

In this video I want to show you how to build a winners mindset. As you may know NLP is a modelling methodology. So what we do is find someone who is at the top of their profession and then model out their mindset and their behaviours. We then come up with understandings, principles, techniques and procedures that we can share with others.
Now I have an old friend that I have known for decades. His name is Steven. He would say things like, “I am God, you are God. God is all knowing, God is everywhere and has the ultimate power”. Then he would say, “As I am God I can do anything that I want – I may not know how to do that but I can learn as I go along.”
Steve told me how on one occasion he was sitting in a pub and when some guy walked in he used the opportunity to strike up a conversation. Once he had rapport and they learned they had some similar interests in gold he struck up a deal with the guy. And Steve told me that he had no idea how to fulfill his part of the bargain but that as God he knew that he could do whatever was necessary. He ended up making a lot of money from this deal – but this was not just one of those lucky contacts. Again and again he would meet a stranger – strike up a conversation – build rapport – find similar areas of interest – then do a deal – and then he would have to work out how to fulfill his side of the bargain.

ABOUT WHY WHAT DO
These conversations are an opportunity to gain an understanding of why people do what they do. Every action is driven by a thought – so to change behaviour we need to understand what it is that drives and motivates people. We can gain an understanding of that structure by mapping out values and meta programs.
Meta Programs are perceptual filters that generally operate out of conscious awareness. They filter perception and determine your preferences in how you think, feel and act. For example, making a decision based upon feelings versus facts and logic is a meta program.
Values work in a similar fashion to meta programs in that they create a frame, a focus, a perceptual filter. Values determine every decision that you make but how you go about making the decision will be based upon your meta programs.
By learning how to recognise values and meta programs we can begin to understand why people do what they do. In doing so we can begin the process of mapping out the structure of peace and reconciliation throughout the world.
