Valley Metro (Phoenix): 2014 New Flyer C40LFR 5063 on the 106 East to 17 Av
Much like the NYMTA's C40LFs, the Valley Metro C40LFRs have the same exact powertrain. Although I prefer the seating that the NYMTA uses rather than the awkward seats the Valley Metro uses.
Much like NYMTA Manhattan's bus routes, most of Valley metro bus's routes are based on the grid system. Despite this, as the 106 route is operated by Transdev, which operates bus routes between north and south Phoenix (much like Transdev operates Nassau County's NICE bus system), service can be extremely unpredictable. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KQu50kLC8s
Since I never uploaded a 4K video, here is one just for the hell of it.

Seen here is a ride-along to the Metro Center Transit Center on route 106 West on 2021 New Flyer XD40 5687.
Similar to how Nassau Inter-County Express is operated, Valley Metro Bus is contracted to different operating companies by the Valley Metro Regional Public Transportation Authority (except for Glendale's bus routes, which is city-operated). For route 106, this falls into the jurisdiction of Transdev (who also operates Nassau County's NICE Bus system), which operates the North and South Phoenix facilities.

Seeing that the chances of a 2020 holiday train run is likely to be none due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, let's turn the clock back one year when the New York Transit Museum was using the 2018 route for the annual holiday train run (Ran on Sundays from the Sunday after Thanksgiving until the last Sunday of December).
Like the 2018 run, the 2019 route had the holiday train run via the Central Park West line up to 145th St on the "B" platform. Its southern terminal was 2nd avenue, like past runs.

Here is a Crescent model C-651 45-only record changer. These were made when the 7" 45rpm record were relatively new and were extremely popular. These 45rpm changers aided in rendering 78rpm records obsolete.
The 45rpm record was RCA Victor's competing format to Columbia's Long Play record (which played at 33 1/3 rpm). Both used MicroGroove. RCA offered their own line of 45-only changers.
It is physically impossible to use any other type of record that isn't a 7" 45rpm on this changer. Once can stack up to 8-10 45rpm records. When the last record is reached, it would repeat the last record in the stack.
Unlike the earlier models, this one uses an Astatic monaural ceramic cartridge as opposed to a crystal cartridge. This may have been original to the changer, as the cartridge still has its stylus guard, and the stylus itself is brand new.
If you wish to see more showcases from the LES Ecology Center's prop room, please donate as this covers the rental fees, which will allow me to rent rarer or oddball stuff that is worth showcasing!

An oddball alarm clock meant to mimic the look of digital clocks,
This is a purely mechanical clock, using a synchronous motor (just like old flip clocks), and a series of gears with notches and bumps. For the display, It uses neon bulbs, which when the bumps make contact with the correct pins, it illuminates the appropriate amount of neon bulbs to display a digit.
Just one of many ways to create a pseudo-digital display.
