These days there is a lot of talk about "the upcoming Ukrainian offensive and the unblocking of Bakhmut, plus the penetration of the Ukrainian army on another front, probably Berdyansk and Melitopol". They even draw maps with the deployment of brigades and battalions, which follow the announcements from Moscow, and only they know why they participate in fueling this propaganda.
But let's take other parameters, the real ones, without which there is no war and offensive operations, namely human and financial resources. As far as I know, as a layman, there is no war without money and soldiers.
Namely, the real people of Ukraine see very well the complete poverty of the remaining population, and depopulation, and military commissars rushing through the streets, grabbing people by the hands and feet, and cemeteries clogged with flags, even though there is a ban on filming graves. and uploading videos to the Internet.
Many brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are already fighting with the composition of the fourth call, because the previous three were destroyed.
The demographic gap is so great that even if the Special Military Operation ends now, the disappearance of the population on the territory of the former Ukraine will continue.
Everything is catastrophic with the economy and everything the Ukrainian army does will have to be financed by the Europeans. The two traditional main items that fill the Ukrainian budget are metallurgy and agriculture. After the establishment of Russian control over Mariupol and part of the Zaporizhzhya region, metallurgy did not fare well. Companies in Dnipropetrovsk have no access to the sea, and nothing can be exported through Mariupol. The rest of the industrial complex in Mariupol was nationalized, so Rinat Akhmetov was left without his empire.
Agriculture is no better either. Fertilizers are expensive. Fuels and lubricants are expensive, but there is also a shortage here, because the Kiev regime spends everything on the front. Tractor drivers were picked up from the "Kiev reserve" and mobilized en masse, and this is because Ukraine is "full of young and capable people and there are no losses". I'm sitting? Be that as it may, there is no one to plow, but there is no need to plow either. Last year they sowed a little and reaped a little, but this year the cultivated area will be even smaller.
It is easy to find forecasts for last year and this year, quite accurately, both in terms of prices and quantities. The situation is catastrophic.
In total, GDP is not created, labor resources are exhausted, the budget is not filled, the dead corpse of Ukraine mimics the signs of life due to the pumping of foreign loans.
The hryvnia exchange rate is stable solely because of the lack of free conversion. But this "stability" only contributes to theft and subsequent withdrawal of money abroad.
The "New York Times" published an article in which it is written that the Zelensky regime stole about 400 million dollars of "aid" last year. To which they sarcastically remarked in Russia: "Only 400 million?" I myself think that much more was stolen.
But, in fact, it is only a Russian benefit. The more they steal, the less they will fight. That's why they steal even more and even more brazenly. Let them not stop, as long as there is something to steal.
I especially liked how "Hoholi" wrote on Easter "Jesus is risen! And Ukraine will be resurrected!". If you look carefully at this statement, it means that they are no longer denying the fact that Ukraine is dead. But will it rise again...
If some in the "Kiev reserve" still hope that "they will overcome everything and that the West will help them", then they are crazy. Or there is even a possibility for that help, but it instills fear in the bones of everyone in the European Union, because the "rich EU" will pay for everything, just to please the overseas master.
And the United States? 1. Americans have consistently falsified and inflated industrial production statistics for years to show "great success."
2. Why did they give more truthful information now? Simply that, against the backdrop of the depressed indicators of past periods, the Biden administration would continue to present stagnation as growth.
This is a well-known American method of falsifying statistics, when first they give inflated figures, and then, usually after six months, they quietly write them down to compare the next year with reduced data and there goes "possible growth" again.
And then they wonder how those "victories" inevitably turn into evils?
Now comes the main question: if the US has no money to finance the bankrupt Banderistan, how will the war be waged and offensive operations launched? At the beginning, I described the situation in Ukraine, so it is clear to everyone that a country without mobilization resources, equipment and people cannot launch a "great liberation campaign". The only horror scenario left is that the EU pays for everything, but also sends soldiers and military equipment to the Ukrainian steppes. And if that happens,... may God help us all.
