With Xian Du literally just on the horizon we manage to get assaulted by an angry boar because Ivar just wouldn't shut up. This guy is a complete mess. Annoying rude, insubordinate. Milla should really just fire him already. Plus it's pretty clear he's being manipulated and played as a sucker by someone. But by whom, and for what purpose?

And so for the final one-off before we get back to actually running a second series alongside Xillia 2, we decided to take Melty Blood for a test drive. At least part of that decision came from the cross promotion going on in Grand Order right now, and is ultimately why we went with Type Lumina over Actress Again Current Code, but also I just sort of missed Type-Moon and wanted to play something from them again, even if only for a little while. As Jude attempts to explain the story of why he's back in Leronde instead of back on Fenmont for medical school some old guy manages to take a tumble off his roof, calling her away to go do her job or something. While she's off dealing with that, Jude and his dad take a second to talk shop about Milla's legs before we see exactly why Jude left home to go study medicine rather than just studying under his clearly capable parents. Turns out his dad is an insufferable jackwagon. Not only does he all but tell Jude that he's a failure, but he also casually drops that Milla is screwed because he doesn't feel like helping. Which means it's time to steal from our own family and just do it ourselves with absolutely no training instead. What could possibly go wrong?
