Our lead story: As oil prices fell to near multi-year lows on Monday, the global excess of oil continues to weigh on the market. The price of crude has fallen more than 45% since the summer and even though demand has remained fairly moderate, oil producers from Saudi Arabia to the US have increased production. And now some of the nation’s top oil-producing states – including Texas, North Dakota, Alaska, Oklahoma, and New Mexico – are showing early signs of fatigue as a result of these plunging prices.
