POE 3.14 Ultimatum League - Why Going MELEE is a BAD Idea for Beginners | Path of Exile
Path of Exile Ultimatum is a new POE 3.14 league starting on April 16th and potentially drawing a lot of attention to the game from the beginners and people who always wanted to try Path of Exile out.
In this video I'll tell you why you should NOT go Melee on your very first character in Path of Exile as a real Beginner. This is to ensure that you have the best possible time, learn the most without getting too frustrated with the complexities and challenges of the game, and stick around for a much longer time than you potentially would, if you had to deal with everything that Melee Builds in PoE have to deal with.
While Lacerate and Cyclone are a couple of most notable and enjoyable staple Melee build abilities in Path of Exile, it will take you a while before you get to those, raising the risk of finding the game boring and exiting too early. Don't do this to yourself!

I don't mind switching my spec to Marksman while in a Dungeon if it means feeling better about my performance and contribution to the group's progression as a DPS. It makes me feel more competent and useful, and I wish more players would take their job as a damage-dealer a little more seriously, by AT LEAST following a simple cheesy Hunter DPS Guide like this one.

Shadowlands PvP Gearing system has changed substantially enough to be considered even by casual PvE players - at least to a certain extent! In this video I'll share my opinion on this system and compare your PvP gear acquisition options with more typical PvE ways of obtaining gear through Shadowlands dungeons, raids, world quests and LFR.
If you are into World of Warcraft PvP - the choice would be a no-brainer for you. Casual PvE players however need to be aware of diminishing returns that grinding PvP Honor points for too long or in a dedicated way would create, needing to balance their efforts to keep this alternative gear progression system worth their while.

Summon Reaper Witch Builds attract a lot of attention among Path of Exile players who like Summoner Witch builds, and I am no exception!
I've been playing different PoE Necromancer Witch builds for many leagues, releasing the latest build for Ultimatum League 3.14, where I've heavily relied on Spectres and Golems.
In Path of Exile Expedition League 3.15 we have a new skill gem Summon Reaper, that gives us a very powerful new minion to play with, that changes the playstyle of your typical Summoner Witch Necromancer quite substantially.
While we still go for Necromancer Witch ascendancy, we invest differently into our typical Zombies, Skeletons, Raging Spirits, Phantasms, Spectres and Golems, focusing on providing Melee support to our Reaper, rather than boosting our standard army of the dead further...
