Jiddu Krishnamurti is a timeless teacher that pointed at direct perception (attention) as the highest level of learning, which is not limited to the knowledge, mind, or the operation of thought in the brain.
My hope is that these videos will drive greater interest in going deeper into the essence of this teaching.

Beyond Artificial Intelligence: The Dawn of Unknowing

Exploring the Post-AI Paradigm Where Thought is Mechanized and Unknowing is the New Creative Frontier
--
Amihai Loven
Jun 8 2023
The paradigm has shifted; it’s unmistakable. Everything that can be mechanized, without exception, will eventually succumb to automation.
But I’m not discussing jobs or tasks demanding intellectual prowess or complex calculations. I’m delving into something much more profound, the very bedrock of human activity: thought itself.
We are entangled in an outdated belief that our thinking is novel. It isn’t!
Our thoughts stem from pre-existing knowledge, memories we’ve accumulated over time. No matter how revolutionary these ideas might appear, they always originate from the familiar, the comprehensible.
As Einstein famously said, if I recall correctly, none of his epiphanies stemmed from thinking. He pondered 99 times, then sat in silence, and then illumination struck.
This insight may echo what I’m driving at, yet it still falls short of encapsulating the full implication of the impending technological takeover.
So, what lies beyond artificial intelligence? Certainly not a fresh way of thinking.
Every imaginable form of thought will eventually be executed more efficiently, more creatively, by a machine.
What remains is a profound unknowing. A machine can stop functioning, fall silent in the face of creation, but it can’t grasp or operate from a state of unknowing. But we humans are innately attuned to this.
The essence of life is free, creative flow. Within this realm, the whole equation of success, the mechanical overcoming of hurdles, and the very definition of success and error, all morph.
In plainer terms, they dissolve as we’ve understood them so far.
What persists is the unconditional, the absolute. Obstacles cease to exist. Errors become purely instructive.
Yet, this cannot be understood intellectually or gleaned from surface-level observations. It must be realized directly.
Should humanity awaken to the profound implications of this shift? I can’t say for sure. But the question is surely worth pondering.

The Unseen Side of AI
Between Fear and Authenticity
~
https://medium.com/@observingbeauty/the-unseen-side-of-ai-5143e86bc813
For over half of my life, I've worked as a high-tech entrepreneur, pioneering cutting-edge solutions that have reached global markets. My direct exposure to the dynamics within industry-leading corporations sets the stage for this piece,
though I must clarify that my insights into the internal discussions of giants like OpenAI, Microsoft, or Google are speculative at best. Yet, I firmly believe that the reality behind their closed doors might differ significantly from our perceptions.
Most people's understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), unless they are directly involved in its research or deployment in these organizations, comes from:
- Interacting with controlled, rudimentary versions of AI such as ChatGPT. This firsthand experience, however, only offers a narrow glimpse into the vast, unpredictable realm of advanced AI.
- The other main source of information—media, both traditional and social—often inadvertently amplifies disinformation.
Interestingly, I propose that even the leaders steering these technological behemoths may find themselves somewhat in the shadows.
This is not solely because of AI's inherent unpredictability, or the unexpected leaps in capacity that arise as the technology evolves. Instead, the obscurity arises from a more profound source: the challenge in predicting and governing how this technology might shape and interact with human consciousness.
The element I believe we all should pay keen attention to is:
FEAR.
What will be the incident precipitated by AI that triggers worldwide panic?
Any number of events could cause such a reaction, and it's plausible to think that such an incident could occur within the next few years. When it does, it won't remain hidden. It will be broadcasted, and controlling the subsequent fear experienced by everyday people will be impossible.
This fear will stem from the growing uncertainty of who truly wields control: Is it governments, organizations, AI, or some new hybrid entity?
This fear, coupled with the blurring of lines between human decision-making and AI influence, raises some pivotal questions:
- How can you ensure your perceptions remain genuine and untainted by fear or external influences such as AI?
- How can you discern whether your actions are truly your own and not subtly orchestrated by AI?
There is much more to unpack within this topic, and for most people, the easy way out is to shy away from these questions, a choice often driven by fear.
But I urge you, do not let fear dictate your avoidance.
Instead, face these questions head-on and seek answers. Strive to find that untarnishable core within you—the authentic voice that is impervious to fear and unsusceptible to bias.
Because, as we grant AI more influence over our thoughts and actions, the need to preserve our authentic self, and therefore our way of life, becomes ever more crucial.

Unveiling free creative flow as beauty, as life
AMIHAI LOVEN

As we delve deeper into the realm of Free Creative Flow (FCF), it's crucial to understand that FCF is not a skill, nor a tool. It's not something to be wielded or manipulated. Rather, it's a state of mind that allows the natural, uninhibited flow of creativity. The importance of this understanding lies in the clear distinction between the background and the object. In this context, FCF is the background, while tools, uses, and skills are the objects.
To illustrate this, consider FCF as a vast, unseen canvas. If you stumble upon it, or if it reveals itself to you, it emerges from this background. It illuminates your entire conscious awareness, much like a sudden burst of light in a dark room. Even if you encounter FCF for a fleeting moment while writing, painting, playing music, or simply walking, that encounter illuminates your field of awareness. It introduces you to a profound presence of serene beauty that defies reason and measurement.
This encounter with beauty, born out of FCF, stays with you. It guides you and becomes a resource for learning and understanding life in its full spectrum. It transcends the confines of a specific art activity or functional performance, extending its influence to every facet of your existence.
Understanding this is paramount as you delve deeper into the actuality of Free Creative Flow. It's not just about enhancing your creative output or mastering a particular art form. It's about illuminating your consciousness, expanding your understanding, and enriching your flow of life.
In the next three chapters of this series, we will explore the significance of FCF. We will discuss why one might want to delve seriously into it and how it can profoundly impact one's life. Stay tuned as we continue this journey into the depths of Free Creative Flow, shedding light on its transformative potential and its role in redefining our understanding of creativity.

A friend shared what Jiddu Krishnamurti is to him, and I was asked that question.
For a while, it felt like a question that needs to be asked, so I was happy to give it attention.
It unfolds beautifully within and I’m happy to share it with you.
