Here is a bit of footage and a soundtrack for an office drone heading back home from work. I composed the song via my Akai MPK Mini and MPC 2 while commuting on the train to work. After speeding up my walking to the train video it seemed to match the beat of this song well. This one sort of has an 80s vibe to it with some vintage sounding synths as the rhythm and lead along with the drums. The bass is a bit more modern sounding. Here's a collaboration with @qwerrie on the hive.io blockchain. I clipped a bit of his jaw harp video from here

Once the main jaw harp loop was made I added some drum tracks and an additional jaw harp track. Later I brought in an ultra saturated reverb track on my Paul Reed Smith. The final track is my Paul Reed Smith with a quad delay and flanger effect.
Thanks for listening :-) #jawharp #hive #paulreedsmith

Here is an original improvisation on my Martin concert cutaway guitar. I taped my gopro inside the guitar to see what that perspective would look like on my finger picking hand. The audio from the gopro got distorted as it was located inside the guitar fortunately I had my zoom h6 taking audio externally at a more natural sounding position. Overall the perspective turned out good for the video but a word of warning is the gopro gets really hot while recording. So if you have a fancy guitar you may want to reconsider taping a gopro inside :-)
Thanks for listening, I might add some percussion to this track eventually. More soon... #martinguitar #acoustic #gopro

Here's a jam that started out as a midi drum experiment on my Roland Handsonic. I was just coming up with a basic 4/4 beat using the post rock ezx. Once the drums were complete I added a couple bass tracks. To make the song ambient I added a kalimba and idiopan track hooked into my axe fx2 with lots of delay and reverb. For guitars there is an ebow track on my G&L Fallout and a lead track on my knot-o-caster home made guitar. The ambient nature of this improvisation reminded me of endless fractals so I rendered a jwildfire fractal loop (it took 3 days to render lol). Thanks for listening :-) #ambient #guitar

Here is a calming improvisation that started out with displacing air in my doumbek. this created a perfect c note so I began layering other sounds over it. Next I added another displacement note on the doumbek and some rythym on the surface of the doumbek.
I also added some tapping on the kalimba as well as a shaker track recorded in stereo to bring in some high pitched rythym.
On kalimba I played in the key of c to prepare for improvisation on my sitar. The sitar is tuned to Ravi Shankar tuning with lots of strings tuned to c, f, g and d.
Overall the improvisation has a calming sound to it with subtle reverb and delay on the sitar to add depth.
Thanks for listening :-) #sitar #kalimba #doumbek

Demonstrating the many sounds of the idiopan. I kept the audio clean on each track to demonstrate the acoustic qualities of the idiopan. #idiopan #tankdrum

Just a random noodling improvisation on my home made partsocaster. I wanted to play around with some vst plugins so I recorded the electric guitar clean then added some effects via software. For this experiment I tripled the tracks and set one to have the fas reverb plugin by fractal audio. The next duplicated track has a pitch shifting effect and some delay via the ezmix guitar plugin. The final track has some compression and boost via ezmix as well. Thanks for listening :-) #partsocaster #guitar

Here is an improvisation on my Deering Maple Blossom 5 Banjo. I just played whatever came to mind to a 4/4 120 bpm metronome then started adding drum tracks via my Roland Handsonic. The drums include cymbols, shakers, bongos, conga and some gourd shakers. I also added a marimba to act as a sort of bass tone in the background. The final track is on my Taylor 12 string with a direct signal from the piezo dot pickup into Bias Fx 2 on a really slow rotary effect with delay and reverb. While playing the 12 string I tried playing just the lighter pair of the strings to get a higher pitch sound to harmonize with the banjo.
The overall mood is positive in the major scale and kind of reminds me of the start of a brand new day with a bright sunset. Thanks for listening :-) #banjo #originalmusic #12string

This jam started out as an experiment on my akai mpk mini where I was playing around with the Xpand!2 synth plugin. Xpand!2 is pretty fun as you can stack various synths over each other and create an interesting dimensional sound. Once I got the synth stack right I just riffed out a few phrases on the keyboard then started adding in tracks on top. The first layer was the bass and then I added in the drums via the dreampop ezx plugin by toontrack. From there I added in the guitars and used a mixture of bias fx 2 and guitar rig 6 to get the various tones. That's all for now thanks for watching :-) #synthrock #mpc

A yogi master is trying to transcend their ego. Try as they can the ego fights back with multiple forms of personalities to stay alive. As the yogi gets closer to enlightenments all sorts of distractions flood into place. Various portals are opened and closed only to reveal more distraction before transcendence can finally be achieved. Finally after years and years of practice the yogi reaches enlightenment and becomes one with the architect of the universe.
Video was created in 3ds Max and Vray with the music created in MPC and Cakewalk with a bit of Guitar Rig 7 effects.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
