Spoiler Free Review of the Steins Gate Anime, a series that has literally become my new favorite anime without finishing the series. There's something special about this cast both in the dub and sub. Both have their own flair that make this series both intriguing and addictive. Toss in time travel and you have a series that peaks the interest of anyone that ever asks the question, "what if"..Beyond that Steins Gate pushes your limits as it constantly throws one twist at you after the other but it never feels forced. Each twist flows with the narrative and makes perfect sense, it never over complicates and considering the gravity of what we're dealing with in this story just simply works. On top of all of this, the show does a perfect job of balancing comedy and drama, never overdoing either and I think this is the key to this series charm. With lovable, intriguing characters and plot twists galore there's literally nothing wrong with Steins Gate....so far. You see I'm currently only 14 episodes in and I keep asking myself, when is this going to get sloppy? Where am I going to see the plot hole? But as I get closer and closer to the end I have to say I'm confident that won't happen, but time will tell. (Pun intended)
