Rapido MLW M420 Review....
Hi All,
In this video I review the latest and greatest release from Rapido Trains Inc. The long awaited MLW M420 in HO Scale. First time in Plastic, and first HO scale model to feature "Canadian Air-Conditioning" ...... Enjoy !
Some highlights of the model features are:
The HO Scale MLW M420 Features:
-3D scanned from an actual M420. This is as close to real as it gets!
-MR-20b and MR-20c classes available in the first run
-Rapido’s innovative dead straight metal side handrails with plastic stanchions
-Incredible underframe detail including traction motor cables and other piping, rerailer and a silly number of separately-applied parts
-Two or three panel radiators, louvered or large opening electrical cabinet door, open or closed truck bearings
-Operating headlights, rear lights, tri-colour class lights, and illuminated cab control stand
-Separate grab irons and handrails installed at the factory
-Highly detailed cab interior with optional open front door (yes you read that correctly)
-Heavy, die-cast chassis with Rapido’s silky-smooth drive
-DCC/Sound (ESU Loksound V5)
-Accurate sounds recorded from a real M420
-Factory-installed Macdonald-Cartier couplers mounted at the correct height

We are delighted to introduce the second release of the New Look Bus in HO scale. This time with a single-width rear door, this bus model has various improvements over the first release from 2017 but still comes packed full of detail and realism that you expect from a Rapido model, right down to every rivet. This model represents the second through fourth generations of the New Look bus, spanning from the mid 1960s right up until the last one was produced in 1986, and comes with agency-specific details from advertising panels to roof hatches.
