As activists began to assemble Wednesday night at the District 7 Police Station in Washington DC to protest the police shooting death of 18-year-old Deon Kay, some confronted a Fox 5 DC reporter and his cameraman, forcing them to leave.
An aunt of Kay disagreed with the crowd, saying "we need to let DC know" what happened, but the crowd continued to follow the crew until they left the scene.

Second amendment supporters and militia groups assembled today at the Maryland State Capitol in support of gun rights as part of a national day of rallies in response to the "March for our Lives."
The Maryland activists particularly focused their attention on the proposed "Red Flag" law in the state. The law would make “lethal violence protection orders” that would allow family members and friends to ask a judge for a temporary order allowing law enforcement to seize firearms from an individual before any due process hearing takes place.
The event was entirely peaceful and participants were not openly armed. The consensus among the speakers and attendees is that using the political process is essential to preserving gun rights, but that the second amendment itself provides a final line of defense.
"You water that tree of liberty. What do we water it with?" asked Michael D. Smigiel Sr., a former delegate in the Maryland House of Delegates. "The blood of patriots and tyrants. Now, I'm not asking anybody to go out and water that liberty tree yet. But she is parched."
"It is parched," one speaker added. "But there's two ways to water it. One is with the blood of patriots and tyrants. But while it's parched, why not water it with the tears of our foes?" He went on to propose a direct action plan to pressure politicians to vote pro-gun rights.

Zachary Cruz, brother of alleged Marjorie Stoneman Douglas School Shooter Nikolas Cruz, announced We Isolate No-one "WIN" Thursday afternoon at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
WIN plans to create youth-led student organizational chapters in schools across the country and has already unveiled a 24-hour anti-bullying hotline.
"I cannot sit by and watch another tragedy happen," Cruz told reporters. "At the end of the day, bullying and isolation is a national crisis. Kids are dying. The kids know. Since we know, it's our responsibility to make changes."
The organization will receive $800,000 - $1,200,000 support from Nexus, a corporation that provides several services related to incarceration, criminal defense and due-process rights.
News2Share's Ford Fischer spoke to Nexus CEO Mike Donovan about the upcoming initiative, its motivation, and its formation.

During Saturday night's Trump rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, some armed activists patrolled the streets.
One protester confronted some labelled "Cowboys Militia."
"Are you gonna shoot us?" he asked.
"That's not our intent brother," one "Cowboy Militia" member replied.
As they talked, the militiaman convinced the protester he's there to protect all sides at the event, and that he doesn't identify with the Republican or Democratic Party.
The two ended up hugging, before News2Share got a chance to interview the militiaman.

Climate activists blocked inbound rush hour traffic into Washington DC this morning to demand President Biden declare a "Climate Emergency" and cancel the Willow Project.
They say his approval of new drilling would offset any enviro gains from electric vehicles.
Two school busses were among the vehicles blocked.
"I get y'all's protest, but we've got kids on the school bus that have to get to school!" one driver said.
"This is ridiculous!"
As the police arrived to where climate activists were blocking rush hour traffic, a frustrated driver told the activists to stand up to expedite their arrests.
"If you stand up, it's so much easier to be handcuffed, I'm telling y'all! They could make it so much faster!"
As police issued a final warning to the climate activists, one described that it's her 32nd birthday and "I can't celebrate a future that looks so bleak."
"I'm here to call on President Biden to declare a climate emergency," she explained as she was arrested. "... and acknowledge that urgent action is needed for not just my future but the future of all young people and all the future generations."
Only three total activists remained in the street through the warnings and were arrested.
"Unless we act right now, we have perhaps three maybe four years and after that it's probably over," said one of the three climate activists arrested this morning.
"The kinda life we've had here on planet Earth, it's all gonna be gone."
All three were loaded into a police wagon in handcuffs and taken away by DC police.

"Open border Democrats forced two really bad decisions on congress, on the White House, and on the American people," Congressman Mo Brooks told a crowd Tuesday at a "Build the Wall" coalition press conference. "They tell us we have to shutdown the government, or we have to aid and abet, like they do, these deaths of Americans."
Brooks was referencing family members of Americans killed by people in America illegally who were featured at the event.
"The choice aught to be that we open the government and we save American lives," he said.
"Contact every single dadgum Democrat on Capitol Hill and tell them that you expect them to represent Americans and to put them above illegal aliens!" he told the crowd.

Congressman Raúl M. Grijalva and Congressman Raul Ruiz held a forum Thursday on protecting native land and resources, urging federal agencies to pull back permits they have already issued for the controversial Dakota Access Pipeline.
All the way from Standing Rock, Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Chairman David Archambault, tribal leaders, youth, and respected elders remarked on their efforts to protect the rights, health, safety and culture of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and other Lakota nations in North Dakota.
Rep. Raul Ruiz calls on the Army Corps of Engineers to comply with their legal trust responsibility to protect tribal lands and cancel their flawed Dakota Access Pipeline permit. He calls for them to conduct meaningful consultation with the tribes and that they do a complete environmental impact statement.
Harold Frazier says there’s a big issue with consultation between developers and tribes. “A lot of times when we go and meet with Federal Agencies, we come with authorities from our tribal council to negotiate, and a lot of times, there’s no decision makers sitting across the table from us. Many times, as a matter of fact all the time, they tell us they’ll get back to us but they never do,” he says.
"This conversation today impacts people who will be born generations from now."
Faith Spotted Eagle, Ihanktonwan Oyate Spiritual Leader and Elder, begins her statement by saying she would like to give her thanks to the congressional relatives there. “I’d like to exert my senior status by making all her relatives be those who come from Mother Earth, so you are all my relatives here today. This conversation today impacts people who will be born generations from now. I’d like to begin by acknowledging that an entire realm of indigenous thought is marginalized, deemed unknowable and consequently left out of every serious decision. It’s important to notice that a holocaust happened here in this country. We are now experiencing it on the Missouri River, the lifeblood of our people and home to 8 million other human relatives.”
“This is not just a Native American Issue, this is a human race issue. We’re doing this to protect our human race because without water we can’t survive,” says Gracey Claymore. Gracey is a 19 year-old member of the Standing Rock Youth Council. She was moved to tears during her statement about how beautiful the lands of Standing Rock are and how important they are to her. “We’re doing this so they [the future generations] can have a future. They deserve clean water.”
Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. Ranking Member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, reassures the tribes they’re not alone. “I wish we were having an official hearing,” he sa

"Why the f*** did I vote for you?" Activists gathered around D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser's (D) house at 1am Thursday morning to protest the police killing of Deon Kay.
When police refused to let activists onto the property, they woke up the neighbors as well. "If we don't get no justice, you don't get no sleep!" they chanted.

Trump supporters rallied Friday morning - the second anniversary of January 6 - outside the Supreme Court and were confronted by counter-protesters as they called for the justices to take up the case of Brunson v. Alma S. Adams, which demands the expulsion of most members of congress over their certification of President Joe Biden.
