During the Second Transmission, Artemis says to Moon, Starscream-sama no sho o youchi asagake osottari shite (スタースクリーム様の処を夜討ち朝駆け襲ったりしてー) or literally, “I might attempt a night raid and a dawn attack at Starscream-sama's place!” In this sentence, the use of youchi asagake (夜討ち朝駆け) is a term that reporters use when they want to get a story or a scoop out of someone by confronting / interviewing them either late at night or early in the morning. You can also see this is reflected in Artemis’s actions as she’s taking notes like a reporter in the scene. Since this term isn’t that commonly used in normal everyday dialogue, some people could have misheard this as using the terms youbai (夜這い) literally “creeping at night into a woman's bedroom” and asakaeri (朝帰り) literally “staying out all night and coming home in the morning.” Although you kind of wonder if the writers did this intentionally knowing what Artemis’s feelings are towards Starscream. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jde7dwv7IJw
Translator Notes:
Thrust makes a bad joke saying that Megastorm-sama will be a Mechastar (メガストーム様もめちゃスター)。We’ve changed this to Megastar to convey the same meaning in English along with how poor the pun was.
Artemis reads a postcard from Suzuki-kun who lives in Sugunami (杉並区). Suginami occupies the western part of the ward area of Tokyo. Its neighbors include these special wards: to the east, Shibuya and Nakano; to the north, Nerima; and to the south, Setagaya. Its western neighbors are the cities of Mitaka and Musashino.
Bighorn uses a proverb: Kikumimi motanu, umanomimininenbutsu ja ̄ i (聞く耳持たぬ、馬の耳に念仏じゃーい) Literal translation of the proverb means, “Buddhist chant on a horse's ears.” A more common understanding is “Fallen on deaf ears” or “it's like water off a duck's back!”
Tasmanian Kid says to Galvatron, Oo otoko, soumi ni chie ga mawari kane (大男、総身に知恵が回り兼ね). Literal translation would be "Big guys (physically) and their wisdom (intellect/brainpower) does not reach to the ends of their bodies." In other words, Physically big men don't have much brainpower.
Diver makes mention of a senbei (煎餅) which is a Japanese rice cracker.
Hissatsu (必殺) refers to a lethal technique or attack move

This first segment, known as "Clash! Beast Warriors", is a "compilation film" made up entirely of clips from the first season of Beast Wars cut together with newly recorded dialogue to form a complete, if disjoined narrative, that summarizes the basic story of the show so far. After defeating the Destrons in a major battle, the Cybertrons attempt to return to Seibertron, but their efforts fail, and they then face destruction at the hands of a mysterious race of aliens, until Convoy sacrifices his life to destroy their orbiting weapon.

Translator Notes:
Starscream’s operational plan named Mori no Kokagete (森の木陰て) literally means "The shade of the woods." It is a verse from an old children’s song called Mori no Kiboto (森の小人) literally meaning Dwarfs of the woods. In the song, the verses sing of a donjarahoi (ドンジャラホイ) which seems to be a rallying cry for a festival or party that is happening. Although Starscream clearly states his operational plan is “The shade of the woods”, we’ve adjusted this to “The festival in the woods” since his reference is related to the true meaning within the song that it’s referenced from.
The box that Tasmanian Kid is carrying on his back with oil inside, is very similar to how merchants or peddlers used to carry medicine and other supplies back in old times. Even today, some companies which do home delivery of medicine still use those types of boxes, however rather than carrying them down the street on their backs, they transport them by vehicles.
