We, the Linux community, do not always do well when trying to entice new Linux desktop users. We should help minimise confusion and show that "some" choice is actually a good thing.
We should restrict the far too many choices, though, by uniting behind distributions like Mint and Manjaro (and PopOS!) and help new users move to them as they are great for both average users as well as power users.
To much choice is scary, a few great choices make it perfect.
