This Let's Play stuff is serious business. I had a hell of a time getting this set edited and uploaded.
First, the video file was damaged somehow and I had to find and download two different repairing programs to finally get it fixed. It was either that, or replay the 30 minutes again. Well, it took me an hour to get it repaired, but to me it's worth it to have a fresh, blind playthrough. If I knew what was going to happen, the videos just wouldn't be as entertaining. At least that's what I keep telling myself so I don't punch babies when this stuff happens.
Then, after I got it repaired and the audio edited, and re-encoded, I uploaded all three parts of the video to the WRONG YOUTUBE CHANNEL! I have another channel that is just random crap of mine and I was logged into that one on accident.
And now I realized that the microphone was in the wrong place while recording and I was breathing right at it and there's a constant thumping sort of wind whenever I breathe. I realized the poor placement of it part way through recording (though I had no idea it was this bad) and tried to adjust it, but apparently it didn't help.
But this is all a learning experience really. I'm now fully educated and prepared to deal with broken videos, will always check I'm logged into the right account from now on and have my microphone in a good spot. So there's that at least. Blargh.
