The Western media is beginning to admit the limits of Western aid for Ukraine including in terms of main battle tanks.
As supplies of T-72s across Europe dwindle, Kiev has been increasingly demanding the delivery of Western-made main battle tanks such as Leopard 2s produced by Germany or the American-made M1 Abrams.
However this faces major obstacles and is ultimately impractical.

The US is targeting individuals in the Cambodian government with sanctions for allegedly "suppressing democracy." In reality Cambodia is defending against US-funded interference.
Cambodia's main opposition party, the Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) is literally based in Washington D.C. with exiled politicians fleeing to the US and conspiring with the US government in their bid to return home and seize power.
This is yet another example of the US using economic coercion to punish nations for not submitting to Washington-sponsored interference in their internal political affairs - interference prohibited under the UN Charter.

The US has announced yet another anti-China alliance. This one is called, “Partners in Blue Pacific,” and either includes or soon will include both the UK and France as well as Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
This is about countering China - but if China is attempting to trade, develop, and raise the entire region with its own rise upon the global stage - it means the US and its allies are attempting to counter development and progress for these Pacific island nations.
Many of these nations are approaching China in the first place specifically because of the impoverished, destabilized state they’ve been left in by the US and its allies.

Update on Russian military operations in and around Ukraine for December 23, 2022:
- US prepares a 1.85 billion USD aid package for Ukraine;
- Package includes Patriot missile battery;
- Western media notes Ukraine's use of Patriot missiles will compound existing missile shortage;
- Package falls short in terms of artillery ammunition;
- Pentagon contracts for additional ammunition for Ukraine's Soviet-era weapon systems falls far short of meeting Ukraine's weekly requirements let alone what it will require over the next month or year;
- Pentagon provides a "fact sheet" listing all support the US has provided since Russia's special military operation began in late February;
- Many systems on the Pentagon's end-of-year list cannot be replaced nor production ramped up for years to come;
- Russia's military appears prepared for long-term, intense, large-scale combat, it's forces arrayed for such fighting, its stockpiles large enough to supply it, hinting at the possibility Russia's military industrial output is also prepared to sustain it.

China has begun building its own space station in Earth orbit with the successful launch of the first core Tianhe module. The station will host experiments from a variety of other nations including Western Europe, India, Russia, and more.
Many have asked why China doesn’t just participate in the International Space Station (ISS) already in orbit. This is because the US has deliberately blocked China from joining.
While the reasons given are based on claims regarding “human rights” and “intellectual property,” the truth is that the US is both unable to and incapable of competing with China in the long term.
