Donald Trump Widens His Lead in Republican Presidential Race
Donald Trump has opened a double-digit lead over his next-closest Republican rival, less than three weeks before the first votes of the 2016 presidential race are cast, a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll finds.
A third of people who said they would vote in a Republican primary in the nationwide survey said they favored Mr. Trump to be the GOP nominee, followed by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz at 20% support, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio at 13% and retired pediatric neurosurgeon Ben Carson at 12%.
In December, Mr. Trump had led the No. 2 candidate, Mr. Cruz, by 5 percentage points. In the new poll, his lead widened to 13 points.

On January 3 Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump used a Facebook post to call out Hillary Clinton’s hypocrisy in telling the American people that guns “don’t keep you safe” while simultaneously surrounding herself with “heavily armed bodyguards.”
On December 19 Breitbart News reported that Clinton reacted to the surge in gun sales that followed the San Bernardino terror attack by saying, “Guns, in and of themselves…will not make Americans safer.” She then listed the number of gun-related deaths each year in a way that appeared to suggest guns actually make America less safe.
On January 3 Trump responded with: “Hillary said that guns don’t keep you safe. If she really believes that she should demand that her heavily armed bodyguards quickly disarm!”

Over 300 California recall election ballots found in passed out man’s car
California police are investigating a man who was found passed out in a vehicle with more than 300 unused mail ballots for the gubernatorial recall election of Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom set to take place on 14 September.
The suspect, who has not been identified, was located in a 7-Eleven parking lot on 16 August.
He was found by Torrence police in southern Los Angeles. Officers also found Xanax pills, methamphetamine, a loaded gun, thousands of other pieces of mail, a scale, several driver licenses’ and credit cards in other people’s names.

The promoters of same-sex “marriage” propose something entirely different. They propose the union between two men or two women. This denies the self-evident biological, physiological, and psychological differences between men and women which find their complementarity in marriage. It also denies the specific primary purpose of marriage: the perpetuation of the human race and the raising of children.
It is in the child’s best interests that he be raised under the influence of his natural father and mother. This rule is confirmed by the evident difficulties faced by the many children who are orphans or are raised by a single parent, a relative, or a foster parent.
The unfortunate situation of these children will be the norm for all children of a same-sex “marriage.” A child of a same-sex “marriage” will always be deprived of either his natural mother or father. He will necessarily be raised by one party who has no blood relationship with him. He will always be deprived of either a mother or a father role model.
Same-sex “marriage” ignores a child’s best interests.

Ban Toy Guns
I guess New Jersey is running out of legal gun owners to harass. At least that’s one explanation for Atlantic City’s most recent ordinance aimed at curbing gun violence. Apparently, the genius progressives who run New Jersey’s version of Vegas have decided that banning toy guns will somehow save lives. It’s really nice that Atlantic City doesn’t have anything else to worry about, like failing casinos, declining tourist revenue, or rampant crime.

A Birmingham activist is urging officials to ban the sale of toy guns within the city limits.
Just days after his protest of a grand jury declining to indict a white Ferguson, Mo. police officer in the shooting of a black teenager, Frank Matthews is launching another campaign aimed at shunning the use of toy guns by children.
Toy guns have gone beyond child's play to glamorizing violence and even begin mistaken for real weapons, Matthews argues.
"One of the ways that we could end that is by eliminating toy gun manufacturing, as well as sales of toy guys in America," Mathews said.

Food bank reports 95% of users not born in Canada
A Toronto-area food bank is sounding the alarm after it witnessed a dramatic increase in new clients – a vast majority of which were new immigrants.
According to Feed Scarborough, visits to its five locations across the region have spiked by 112% in the past year.
A total of 95% of those relying on Feed Scarborough were not born in the country, while 72% had only been in Canada a year or less.

The miles of twisting hallways are made even more intriguing by secret passageways in the walls. Mrs. Winchester traveled through her house in a roundabout fashion, supposedly to confuse any mischievous ghosts that might be following her.

Leave it to liberal California to come up with the most ridiculous gun legislation — the latest move proves how stupid the state thinks it’s residents are.
California Legislature passed a bill requiring BB guns and Airsoft Pellet guns to be painted bright toy colors so they are not mistaken for real guns.
The legislation was first met with difficulty in the passing process, but proved successful in making it through Assembly 41-34. The bill must now pass a Senate vote.
SB 199, by Sen. Kevin de León, D-Los Angeles, wants non-lethal “toy” guns to be “readily identifiable” so law enforcement officers can distinguish them from real firearms. What Senator De León failed to consider is what is to stop a criminal from coating their very real gun a fun bright color?

Taking a page out of their radical, progressivist playbook, the Democrats plan hyperinflation to finance massive spending increases and new entitlements. In fact, many Democrats are embracing the ideas of economist Stephanie Kelton or “Modern Monetary Theory.”
