Sly along with Bentley and Murray head within the Cooper Vault. But it turns out that Sly has to go in by himself. Bentley and Murray wonder if Sly takes them for granted. But the two know that Sly has in their best interests. Sly heads deep within the Cooper Vault and soon learns of the history behind it and those involved. It began when Slytunkhamen the 2nd created the Cooper Vault. It was meant as a safe that stores all their accomplishments. Since then, every Cooper would pour their gains into the vault itself. And we see that many Coopers have done so throughout history. Even Sly's own father Connor Cooper contributed. While this was going on, Bentley and Murray had to contend with Dr. M and his forces. After dealing with the mooks, Dr. M shows up. It's then they learned that Dr. M and Connor didn't see eye to eye. In fact, they did work together but things just didn't last. And seeing Bentley has Dr. M realizing that the two are foils for one another. A mirror as it were. Sadly Bentley believes in Sly. He along with Sly and Murray been together since they were kids. Their bonds. Their chains... will never break. So as Murray deals with Dr. M, Bentley uses some items to deal damage to him. Despite their efforts, Dr. M knows that Sly has reached the inner vault and so heads off. Bentley and Murray meanwhile form a plan. Meanwhile Sly reaches the inner vault and Dr. M confronts him. A battle ensues and during this, Sly assures Dr. M that he would do anything for Bentley and vice versa. Same can't be said for Dr. M and Connor. At least Dr. M makes a good point. Sly then says that he may be part of the Cooper line, he is still Sly. It's then Carmelita shows up and Dr. M decides to go after her. Sly takes the full brunt, forcing Carmelita to take him out. It's then that Sly had suffered memory loss due to that. So Carmelita decides to take Sly under her whim. They escape as the island collapses. Bentley explains what happened. They're able to escape as the island and everything else collapses. The gang look around to find Sly but it turns out he didn't want to be found. He left a calling card alright... and it was worth millions. Months would pass and the gang had went their separate ways. Murray completed his training and decides to become a professional racer. As for Bentley, he's at work having completed a new safe... with Penelope by his side. But it's then that Bentley has an idea in mind... a time machine. And it would set up the events for Sly 4: Thieves in Time. We also get an epilogue for the others. Dimitri became a celebrity skid driver. The Panda King returned home to his daughter, living a happy life. He also became someone to be screening suitors. The Guru got some new students. Sadly it was a rock band. He was last spotted in New York. But as for Sly, well... he gets to live his life enjoying his time with Carmelita. Turns out he didn't suffer memory loss at all. He got his moment. Phase 1 has us fighting Vorkken as normal. He has some new tricks but don't let up. You really can't let up at all. Not now. Not ever. After that is the second phase and Vorkken gets serious with his Teio Form. You can tell the music gets serious because of it. My only advice for you is that you give it everything you have and then some. Vorkken will not let up. No way. Not ever. With Vorkken's defeat, we do rescue him mostly cause of Pink. But then Vorkken gets beat by his own sister Immorta. It's then she learns that Vorkken didn't get brainwashed or anything. He wanted revenge on GEATHJERK for what they did to his home. Once we escape, it's then that GEATHJERK strikes. They strike Vorkken with a virus named Vaaiki, paralyzing him. But then Luka reveals that the pendant he has is the MCU (Master Control Unit) for every Super Reactor and he wants to join, to see Jergingha. Gimme, Officer First Class allows it. This is bad. Piccolo arrives to help out and though he does drive Frieza back, the evil mastermind has prepped for every eventuality. He transforms into his second form and it's more vicious than the first. Even with Gohan's help, it ain't enough. Vegeta asked Krillin to blast him within an inch of his life and does so, mostly due to Zenkai Boost. But Dende ends up healing Vegeta and that doesn't cut it, especially now that Frieza reaches his final form. With that form, he beats Vegeta down. Goku shows up at the nick of time with Vegeta pleading to him to defeat Frieza and avenge the Saiyan Race. Frieza then kills him so it now becomes a fight between good and evil. Despite Goku's efforts, even using Kaioken, he still can't beat Frieza. So he resorts to a last chance opportunity by using the Spirit Bomb aka the Genki-Dama. He lobs it and it still isn't enough. Frieza goes one step further, kills Krillin and that becomes the impetus for Goku to transcend at last. He becomes a Super Saiyan. With this rage, he lays it all out on Frieza. While this goes down, King Kai contacts Kami with a plan to save everyone. Since Piccolo is reborn, Kami is as well as is the Dragon Balls. Mr. Popo gathers them and uses them to resurrect everyone who were killed by Frieza. With that done, Dende gets asked by the Grand Elder Guru to make the third wish: Bring everyone back to Earth except for Goku and Frieza. That gets taken care of so now Goku can go all out without worry. He does that and when Frieza decides to be a cheap shot with Death Slicers (or Kien-structo Discs in DBZA), he learns the hard way and it hurts. Goku lets him live a bit only for Frieza to be cheap and go for a final strike. Doesn't work. Frieza dies. In the end, Goku defeats Frieza only to be engulfed in Namek's explosion... did he survive? We don't know. The good news is that the Namek Dragon Balls are used to resurrect everyone: Krillin, Yamcha, Tien and Chiaotzu. The Frieza Saga ends but now a new threat is on the horizon: the Androids. Part 13 is Intermission and we'll use that time to complete side-quests, grind a bit and gather Dragon Balls.
