RTX 4000 series card have leaked, at least a little info. I've heard some takes on the 4090 and I do not agree at all. I have a feeling that high power consumption isn't anything that would stop we a gamers from picking it up. I can't say the same for crypto miners. LETS GO!

Today I'm reviewing the Aukey GH-S4 gaming headset. After playing a few hours of PUBG with these headphones, I will say that they come very close to being a good budget gaming headset but the fail in a critical area to be considered good. For me at this price point the audio quality is good, the mic quality is good, the materials are good, the headset and the USB cable are solid, but the fit and comfort broke the entire experience for me. Now this is a two fold problem. Because the ear cups do not make a seal around my ear a lot of sound escapes meaning I am forced to turn them up a bit to equalize the loss, that also means that the ear cups put a lot of pressure at the top of my head making them plainly uncomfortable to wear for even medium length gaming sessions. This is especially pronounced for me because I wear glasses. So all in all the aukey gh s4 headset checks a lot of the boxes and are good to look at but I there is some pretty stiff competition at this price point so I'd recommend shopping around before picking these up. As a note to Aukey, if you changed the ear cups so they pitch up and down a bit I'm sure that would solve a lot of the comfort issues and you'd sell a lot more of these.

The Vulkan api demonstrated good performance compairing it to OpenGl playing Doom with the GTX 1080. In this video I'm running Doom under OpenGl using 2 GTX-1080's in Sli with the Nvidia HB bridge @5760x1080 resolution. In the following videos, I run Doom again at the same resolution but using only one GTX-1080 with Vulkan. And for an apples to apples comparison I run Doom one more time with a single GTX-1080 but using OpenGl rather than Vulkan. GPU tech has come so very far from where it began a quarter century ago, but are we to the point where extreme resolution gaming only requires a single GPU? This series will provide evidence for your conclusion.
Thanks for watching! :)

A video idea is always the first step in uploading a new creation, but the settings you use to encode your video will have a big effect on the end result. In today's video we will go through some of the encoding settings I use when uploading a video. I thought this would be a short video but I geeked out on some of it and went on rambling for a min but it's all good information that'll help fill in why you want to use some of the settings the way I do. I have been on YouTube for a while and while my channel may not be very big, I do know how to make a video. I learned this stuff over a relatively long period of time and because you are a member of the community I will gladly share what I know with you. If you have any other questions do not hesitate to ask and I will do my best to get you an answer. Game Strong! PEACE!

Included in my top 5 list of new games to be released in 2019 are some of the most anticipated cross platform titles ever! To my surprise a common theme emerged among most of these titles. The elements in common are open world, futuristic, all with next generation graphics. Although some developers failed the community with the launch of recent titles, two of the title on my list are are from that developer but I have great expectations for both of them. As for the other titles two of them are completely new with no precedent to live up to so they may end up being either the greatest surprises or the greatest disappointments. I suppose they are all pretty much action titles but I'd go out on a limb to say that each of the titles I picked for top 5 really qualify more as either a hard RPG or Action/RPG. The classification system in steam points me towards action but with crafting systems and character development systems in place I can't help but drift towards the Role Playing Game side of things. Anyway, the titles in this top 5 list are all scheduled to be released in 2019 and I expect each of them to be some of the best video games released in the year. That is not to say there won't be any other titles that end up being some of the best, but these are the one upcoming PC titles I am looking forward to. In addition to the theme in common across these games, most of them are not exclusive titles. You should be able to pick up these games on any modern platform. This year will be huge for gaming. There are so many title slated to release that I couldn't simply list the all so I picked my top 5. In fact even the gaming mega hub IGN has a few of these title listed in their favorite list of upcoming titles in 2019. If there is a new game that you think I left off the list of you disagree with what I have, let's start the conversation so let me know in the comments below. PEACE!

After playing with the steam controller for a while, I’ve found it to not only be an excellent alternative to one of my favorite controllers of all time, the Xbox 360 controller, but also as an alternative to keyboard and mouse PC gaming. Now I can say that there simply isn’t enough functionality at face value to replace the massive key combination you get from a keyboard, the Steam Controller does provide a great deal more control over the gaming experience than any other controller on the market today. The Steam Controller is an interesting blend of technology with its built in gyro, dual trackpads (rather than dual analogue sticks) and dual stage triggers. Although the features I just mentioned are the highlights, because the controller was designed with PC gamers in mind, everything about it is customizable. In this video I play a few rounds of Doom and one run at Final Fantasy X-2 Remaster to do a high level evaluation of the Steam Controller. In the following videos I’ll do a more straight forward feature comparison of the Steam Controller vs Xbox 360 Controller vs keyboard and mouse.
Sorry about the gaming recording, I accidentally used my streaming configuration to record with... :/

The question can I link Origin and Steam is still being asked. Ever since EA announced they were moving away from Origin to sell in the steam store there has been no shortage of people asking that very question. From a technical standpoint it should be trivial for two large software companies to integrate such a system. To be fair to EA, they did say it's not supported, but their answers to the community are misleading at best. As we review in the video the question is simply do I have to buy games twice to have them registered in the Steam client. This is where the grey area comes in. While you can technically register an Origin game in the Steam client it's not exactly the same as you still need the Origin client installed. Not to mention that EA forum mods dance around the question as if the community member was asking a different question all together. They need to have a big marketing push to get the real info out there.

Apex Legends is the new free to play battle royale game from Respawn. As a big fan of the Titanfall franchise as well as being a big fan of battle royale games, when I found out this game was coming out which was just hours before it became available to everyone on all platforms I was overcome with joy. Although there are no giant robots to pilot the game comes pre-packages with the great proven mechanics from Titanfall and made fresh for 2019 with an infusion of advanced strategy and tactics not found in other battleroyale titles. Unlike those other titles your character / legend has unique abilities that can be used in combination with your squad to track and defeat opposing teams on the board. Apex Legends is launching with a solid content schedule, developer support, and winning game mechanics right out of the box. There are already skins galore for every weapon and none of the paid content will give you an advantage in game. So you do not pay to win but you can pay for extra content. You will not lose out on anything if you choose not to make a purchase. This means we now have a viable alternative to Fortnite for those of us who prefer something a little more serious. I could not be any more excited about it and I hope that you are as well. Download Apex Legends for free from Origin if you're on PC and I'll see you out there. Oh and beside being free it is also available on Xbox one and PlayStation 4 but as of this point there is no indication that ApexLegend allows cross platform play. Game Strong! PEACE!
