The enemies are designed to be stunned for a couple of seconds before coming up again on you, which makes the challenges associated with the game to grow quickly, because you have to face the new enemies ahead, and the enemies that you have already defeated. This brings an extra level of stress on the gameplay, as you have to be quick to pass through the enemies before they awake and attack you again. Once you get the grip of the mechanic, it becomes easier to plan the level, especially as you have to remember the different enemies and their positions on the level as to be prepared on the right timing. Probably something interesting to include in the game would be a death counter, or to keep in the place of the level where you died some mark of past deaths. The game needs some working on the level difficulty balancing and how to give some hints at the player on possible paths or interactable elements in the level. The same should happen with all elements that can damage you, as to make it easier to analyze each situation and plan on how to overcome each obstacle. LOOK AND FEEL From a point of view of visuals, We have to say that we like the color palette chosen for the game, and some of the animations associated with the baby are interesting. From a point of view of graphics consistency and quality, there is still a lot to do from the developer. The art styles seems to try to look for a MEME like reference, but the details of definition, shading and animation of the different art elements is not consistent, which if you compare it against the backgrounds creates a pastiche look and feel that makes the game feel amateur. This also causes the game to be very flat in the world definition. There is a lot of potential to expand on the naive look that we think the creator of the game is looking for, but it needs to remember that in a game all the arts needs to be consistent one with the others. In the same way, in a game each action should have a reaction or a feedback. So if a character walks some dust particles are expected, but again by consistency all the characters should have it. The pseudo 3D intro to the game is really great, and the music is also catchy and aligns correctly with the mood of the game. Partisanen! is a project that recreates life of Soviet partisans during WW2 on the territory of Belarus in form of real time strategy game. The game is created in GDevelop game engine. You start in June of 1941 when Germans invaded Soviet Russia Destroy all German's garrisons to achieve grand victory in game Keep your squad alive until 10th July of 1944 when Belarus was liberated by Red Army to achieve normal victory Beware of German's antipartisan SS forces that will attack your HQ Several types of mission (assassination of traitor, railroad sabotage, attack the antipartisan forces, etc.) ▶ Please Subscribe : https://bit.ly/GameDevelopers ▶ Our honest feedback A very interesting strategy game, where you have to take decisions about managing each situation by itself, based on your own forces, and the potential threat that enemies could represent. You move across the map, while the days in the calendar moves on, and you have to resist up to the victory of the allies. This is probably one of the most annoying part of the game, as when the missions starts to be far away, you have to wait for the units to go and come back. So some way to accelerate the clock and calendar would be welcome. Also, sometimes the victory versus defeat feel like if no strategic decision was taken, but just more a kind of a simple decision on a random number, which can result frustrating, especially when you are sending a lot of troops only to find that you have lost most of it, while the enemy has almost no casualties. The sound effects and music are really cool and really helps you feel that we are fighting in a very peculiar an uneven situation. Nonetheless some of the flaws, it is a very fun game to play. The player need then to research the ship trying to find clues for that what have happened to the crew and trying to escape. The overall mood of the game is very well achieved, although the game visuals and resolutions that have been chosen are focused in creating an old school horror game, remanescentes of the Alone in the Dark first games. Sometimes it become difficult to understand what is happening in the game because, it is not very easy to see the overall details. We have also some difficulties trying to understand what where the puzzles that we needed to solve to progress, which the short time frame that we try to get on these examples, made us almost impossible to progress to far in the game.
