Police disperse protesters rallying against reelection of PM Sanchez
Spanish police moved in to disperse demonstrators who had gathered in the capital Madrid to protest the reelection of Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.

The $320 million floating pier, erected by the US military to receive aid, has partially sunk mere days after being completed. The pier appears to have been damaged by the sea, according to the Pentagon, who said that high seas and a strong African weather system had caused the pier to break apart.
Deputy Defense Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said the army would start rebuilding the supplementary, temporary pier. ‘The rebuilding and repairing of the pier will take at least over a week, and, following completion, will need to be re-anchored to the coast of Gaza,’ she said.

The National Institute of Archeology and History intervened when the construction permit was requested, leading to the investigation that uncovered the archaeological remains, such as square and rectangular rooms, floors, corridors, open areas, construction fillings, rammed floors, walls, and even ancient garbage cans.
