A not-so scientific evaluation of what represents a more realistic guitar tone. Not necessarily 'better', and certainly not for tracking your next hit record, but more akin to what you may hear jamming away in front of the amp. This version of Bullet The Blue Sky, by U2, was my first attempt at playing the song,,, so a fair bit is improvised as I'm working things out,,, still, I think it got going towards the end and I had a lot of fun with it so I thought I'd make a highlight,,, gets a bit 'Hendrixy' towards the end.
Gear Used : Fender Stratocaster made of various parts. Amplitube 5 for the guitar and a few other plugins for the vocals. Lewitt LC240 Pro mic in white (very important that it's in white of course). Line6 FBV Mkii mini floorboard for a bit of wah and volume control.. The purplish colour dunlop gator grip picks with the gator on the front. Elixir 10-46 strings with a few weeks wear and tear. MOTU M4 audio interface doing all the ins and outs bits... I think that about it.
The live show is an opportunity for the whole community to come together and enjoy rocking gujitar music and a crazy host,, me. We play games and do allsorts of other stuff too,, every Monday night at 7pm live on YouTube.. Come,,, feast.

Just across from the Cenotaph outside Whitchurch LIbrary Gardens, a thousand tealights were arranged in memory of Queen Elizabeth II. A vigil was held for the 1 minute silence at 8pm, at which point many had gathered to pay their respects to our late Queen. The traffic stopped, and for a moment everything was at peace. RIP Ma'am.
