Well today we had an unexpected turn of events on the Duck Adventure, another curve ball I or the vet didn’t count on with Dug, poor Dug is really paying big time for his porcupine encounter.
If you haven’t liked the Facebook page of the Pinnacle Animal Hospital I ask you to please give them a like on their Facebook page, Andrew was on holidays this week and he put his family on hold to take care of Dug for me.

Now I’m waking up at 3am because the ducks are so quite out in the pen, no more freaking and peaking ducks. They are relaxed and enjoying themselves in the pen now, basically like the good old times partying all night.
Because I have to go to town today, I’m not letting the ducks out first thing in the morning I’m going to wait till I get back from town just in case I actually didn’t hit the coyote.
When I got back from town a bunch of Muscovy flew back exactly when I was bringing the feed to the pen, they must have heard me, I think it’s the same Muscovy I saw at the lake the day before when I was trying to track the coyote I shot.

Last night it was a skunk that got the little duck and I have no idea why Dug didn’t get spray.
Got a wake up call from the ducks really early, I was laying in bed and I knew by the sound of them in the pen we had a predator in the yard, but I thought it was a skunk, I was wrong.
There is this Muscovy male that is hanging around the garden all day, he doesn’t leave ever actually when I working in the garden he pretty well circles the garden non-stop, I know why now he is frog hunting.
The ducks are now getting morning armed escorts to the lake…
