Are there too many people in jail for non-violent crimes? Maybe we got our sentencing wrong in Australia.

Here is a proposal to treat non-violent offenders differently from violent offenders.

We also opined on traditional parenting and how its loss has left society the poorer.

Parenting has definitely gone downhill. I have toddlers. I meet with other parents with toddlers.

So many 'negotiate' with their tiny little kids, proffer threats and never follow through, or ignore antisocial behaviour that should be squashed.
