And this is now an avenue that due to Donald Trump's many, many gaffes he has had recently, that a lot of us on the left have been attacking Donald Trump over. Well, apparently Ron DeSantis with his failing Republican presidential campaign has decided that he too wants in on the action, and he has now launched, I guess, what they're calling the Trump accident hacker. And in announcing it this week, Ron DeSantis had this to say, and what Donald Trump does now, he is wedded to the teleprompter. He can't get off that teleprompter anytime he does. He says things like, don't vote. He's telling people not to vote like we have all the votes we need. Really? Wait a minute, you lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton in 2016. You don't have all the votes you need. And so I think that it's just shown this is a different Donald Trump, you know, in 2015 and 2016, he lost the zip on his fast ball, has a sense of entitlement, all this stuff, doesn't think he has to go through and earn it like other candidates. And then DeSantis goes into this big, long, rambling rant. But, uh, it's, it's the mental stuff, right? And he's launched again, like a Trump accident tracker, and they're going to keep a database or a growing list, I don't know what you want to call it, but of all of the weird and stupid things that Donald Trump says going forward and about that thing where he is like, Trump tells people don't vote. Yeah. On Monday, Donald Trump did a speech in New Hampshire and he told his supporters in the crowd, he is like, you don't need to vote. I have all the votes I need. He literally said that, you don't need to vote. So Ron DeSantis is correctly pointing out like, Hey, this guy is telling Republicans don't vote. This is the dumbest thing imaginable. You know, he keeps having these mental slipups. He, he gets distracted by a fly during a speech and starts ranting about fly paper. These aren't things a person, you know, with a, with a fully functioning cognizant, you know, coherent brain is going to do. But Trump's train of thought ran off the track years ago, and that's what Ron DeSantis is trying to point out to the voters. Problem is for DeSantis, it is probably too little too late at this point. Like when I saw this story, when I saw this headline, it actually had to jolt me back into reality. Like, oh yeah, there's still other Republicans running for president. I do this every Day and I'm starting to forget that there is still a Republican primary, that there's other Republican challengers. So DeSantis, if your goal with this is to become relevant, you've already fallen into irrelevancy. Same thing with Nikki Haley and Tim Scott and Chris Christie. Y'all are losing the publicity battle. Ron DeSantis got his name back out there with this one thing because it's a good thing to attack Trump over. But beyond that, he's still a horrible candidate with horrible policies, just like the rest of you. Well folks, Matt Gaetz is done playing around and now the Congress is officially back from their August recess and Labor Day holiday. Matt Gaetz on social media this week came out and essentially threatened house speaker Kevin McCarthy's job. If he does not let Matt Gaetz and his extremist buddies open an impeachment inquiry into President Biden. Here is what Matt Gaetz posted on social media. He said, I worked very hard in January to develop a toolkit for House Republicans to use in a productive and positive way. I don't believe we've used those tools as effectively as we should have. We've gotta seize the initiative. That means forcing votes on impeachment. And if Speaker McCarthy stands in our way, he may not have the job long. Let's hope he works with us, not against us. Now, first and foremost, let me tell you something here. This is a low level lawmaker. 'cause they know Matt Gaetz likes to think, you know, he is the big badass walking around Congress, but you've only been in office for, you know, six, six years. So you're not exactly the most tenured Republican there. You're also a bit of a. Now you are making a threat against the most powerful Republican in Washington dc. I mean, Kevin McCarthy, let's not forget, is third in line in the presidential line of succession. It's Biden Harris McCarthy and Matt Gaetz is making threats against this guy. So why is Matt Gaetz not being the one punished here? Now, I've talked about the stupidity of the impeachment inquiry and all the possible outcomes and each outcome no matter what is bad for Republicans. So we already know it's a stupid idea, but I wanna talk more about this threat from Matt Gaetz. How is it that the high ranking McCarthy is sitting here letting this little low life scumbag threaten him? Like McCarthy could just turn around and be like, Hey dude, it's gonna be really fun for you not having any committee assignments next week, your little prick, like Kevin McCarthy could do that, but Kevin McCarthy can't do that because as Matt Gaetz said, he's basically already rigged the game. He and his extremist Republican cohorts earlier this year in January, let's not forget, they worked out a deal with Kevin McCarthy and they said, we will cave and eventually let you be speaker. We'll finally, you know, stop this everyday voting crap. If you include a little rule that says if any one of us objects, we can immediately call for a vote right then and there on whether or not you get to retain your speakership. Kevin McCarthy said, sure, I agree because I just want to be speaker so bad. So that's why Matt Gaetz has him by the, uh, by the neck at this point because Matt Gaetz knew going into this, he was gonna be able to make all these ridiculous demands, even demands that are going to hurt the Republican party like impeaching President Biden. Which of course is why you have plenty of Republicans in the house that are already even some on the Freedom Caucus that are like, yeah, this is a really dumb idea, but you've let the dumb people gain the upper hand, so y'all will have no choice.
