In 1908 over a remote portion of Siberia a massive explosion destroyed over 700 square miles (1100 Km2) of wild-lands. The force of the explosion was estimated to have registered as a 5.0 of the Richter Scale. The magnitude of the explosion was between 10-40 Megatons!
