While this exact model is available from other "manufacturers", it would seem that they are actually all produced in just the one factory for world-wide use.
***UPDATE***
Original design appears to be Evo Boards / Evo Powerboards from Mike Puzey of South Africa: http://www.puzey.co.za/company.html and made by Zhejiang Okai Vehicle Co., Ltd. www.okai.co
A very useful 9 page exploded diagram of the full parts list of the 800w version is available at: http://www.puzey.co.za/spares/EVO%20800W/fullPartsCatalogue.pdf
[My version here is the 1000watt, now with a custom lithium battery replacing Puzey item F-3]

***END UPDATE***
EveMotion, however, does seem to be unique in adding a VIN plate and stamping the same ident onto the stem of the scooter.
Also, there are slightly different powers and voltages available: 800watt, 1000watt, 1200watt, 1600watt, 2000watt.
36v being 3 batteries
48v being 4 batteries
60v being 5 batteries
72v being 6 batteries
Each battery is a sealed lead acid type and weighs 4.4 kg. Even with this model, having 3 batteries is 13.2kg - already, I'm looking to swap-out the stock batteries for lithium polymer.
Delivery of these requires some assembly - other channels have done unboxings of these already. At first I was surprised to see one channel showing it can take approaching 2 hours to put one together. As I've put 2 together, I do now agree that some parts of the assembly can be a bit "tricky"!
Build-quality is excellent. All the welding is strong, neat, tidy. One is powder-coated black, other also has a carbon-wrap. For the price, the components are very generous but probably will be replaced for better quality items. Namely, the brake-disks are solid steel and could be swapped-out for vented rotors. Also, the brake callipers do a great job of stopping an all-up weight of around 150kg, however, the castings seem a tad brittle.
High-street retailers do sell electric versions of child scooters for adults. While they look good, my concern was their durability when used by someone such as myself who is just over the maximum specified weight. Comparing the high-street versions, Viron specify an additional 20kg, provide larger wheels, front/rear suspension, slightly faster top speed, and more confidence when riding over grassy fields.
Riding on hard surfaces such as concrete, tarmac or blacktop, the off-road tyres do give a noticeable rumble. Another change to the stock version will be try
