This was my 1st time using the live streaming app StreamLabs which I synced to Twitch (because I can not Live Stream yet here.... soon hopefully) Anyway, I got a chance to just sit and practice some ukulele for the first time in over a month so it's pretty sloppy, but it was fun. Also, sorry that the audio quality is not great. I didn't realize that my bluetooth headphones were still synced to my phone so I am fairly certain that it was recording the audio from the mic on the headphones which were sitting next to me on the couch the whole time. So, again, sorry about that. Big shout out to my #1 fan and supporter of the stream @matty5812_ Thank you for watching and for the kind supportive words. Sorry I didn't realize that you said them until after you said you were leaving. Thank you as well to everyone else who is watching this here on Odysee, you guys rock as well!

Until of course there is live streaming available here on LBRY/Odysee... in which case, I will just abandon Twitch and stream here exclusively!
This is the first 2 of many jams from another backyard jam session. This time with my good friend, Jake Leckey. Jake has played drums in a variety of bands that I will come back and add here later. He is one of the greatest drummers I have ever had the privilege of jamming with, that said... He does NOT normally play hand drums, so he was a bit outside of his typical comfort zone. This can be a good thing though as it forces you to adapt and overcome. You can discover new abilities that you didn't even know you were capable of when you push yourself to experiment with new things. That can apply to life in general, but more specifically in music. This whole channel is about exploring musical possibilities and trying to NOT limit ourselves to one specific sound/genre/instrument/etc. A true musician can make music with ANY instrument, or no instrument at all. Much more to follow... follow if you want to hear more. Thanks for watching/listening!
"LBC Go To Moon" A parody version of the song "Bitcoin Please Go To Moon"
This is just the beginning... This will be a world wide collaboration between any/all LBRYans/Odyseekers who choose to participate. Make up your own version, upload it to LBRY/Odysee and tag @TheOdyseeker channel in your video description. After we have a bunch of different submissions, the plan is to compile all of them together into a giant LBC Moon Medley. Let's get this music party started!
Randomly stumbled onto "California Dreamin'" while Jake and I were jamming. We just kinda went for it and mostly improvised the whole thing. It felt appropriate to upload this one next as it will soon be Dec 21st, aka The Winter Solstice, aka the 1st day of Winter, aka Yule. This one goes out to the Solstice Badger!
This is a very rough recording of a very rough confrontation I witnessed earlier today. Set to the very fitting tune of a song that I am working on learning how to play on ukulele. I was working on it on my front porch, (The ideal practice space for such things) when a fight broke out between 2 neighbors from different sides of my street. No one was hurt, but there was some VERY intense screaming/threats/etc. and the throwing of a metal table into the street. It was pretty ugly for a while. I thought a brawl was going to break out in the street between the 2 opposing "gangs". I had to bring my kids inside and postpone my practice session until much later this evening.
Cops were called, but didn't show up until almost an hour later. Which was well after all the intense action had ended. The police only talked with one of the parties involved and I could hear them tell the cop their side of the story. (Which to be clear, varied widely from the reality that I witnessed.)
I know this doesn't sound inspirational so maybe it doesn't belong here, but then again, maybe it does. I just wanted to make some music, and in the end, I did end up doing that. So I guess I could look at it this way:
Despite the fact that we clearly live in a "Mad World" and perhaps even because of it in many instances, beautiful music can still be created to capture those moments, even the bad ones, and Music makes us look at them from an entirely different perspective, a better one.
Don't let the world keep you from being creative. Don't let the negativity stop you from trying to make the world more beautiful, even if that just means sitting on your porch and playing some ukulele music for a troubled neighborhood.
