You want a consistent flow of ideal clients, right? So you ask - What should I be doing? But that's the wrong question to ask. Because Facebook ads could work. Facebook groups could work. LinkedIn could work. SEO / public speaking / cold emailing / cold calling / networking / redesigning your website / publishing a book / making a podcast / shooting videos could work. EVERYTHING could work - and everything could fail. So the wisest question to ask is not "What to do?" because you will always get conflicting answers for that - leaving you running in many different directions, totally overwhelmed. The right question to ask is: When it works, what worked? When it fails, what failed? When you understand THAT, you can create your own secret success formula that you'll actually understand, that will make sense to you. That will feel right. "How do I know if it's going to work?" I get that question all the time. And the answer? "It's not going to work. Now that you know that, you can get started doing it." Huh? Yeah. Worrying if it's going to work is the wrong thing to worry about. Just assume it's not going to work. (At least not at first.) And boldly take the step before you. If it does work right away, enjoy it. But know that you were probably lucky. And being lucky isn't the same as being good. You can't build a business on being lucky. You need to get good.
