This video is about liturgy and liturgical controversy. Fr. Paul Turner is liturgical expert. He is a collaborator for the commission of bishops who consult on English translations of the liturgy. Fr. Paul is being interviewed by Clark Massey, and the purpose of the interview is to try and understand why there is liturgical controversy inside the Catholic Church. The interview is not trying to solve the controversy. It is trying to understand if the controversy is healthy, and why the controversy is so heated. Many background questions are addressed to help people understand the development of the Mass and Catholic Liturgy.

A Simple House is a Catholic ministry that serves project and Section 8 neighborhoods in southeast Washington, DC and Kansas City, MO. Our Catholic missionary work involves meeting people in their neighborhoods and in their homes. Missionaries strive to meet the material and spiritual needs of the poor. While missionaries serve at A Simple House, they live a simple religious life. Each missionary attends daily Mass, says morning and evening prayer from the Catholic Church's Liturgy of the Hours, and makes time for personal prayer and scripture study.

This is part 3 of an interview with Carrie Kafka. Carrie was instrumental in starting two successful ministries in Kansas City. The first ministry is a series of outreaches aimed at young adults, and it is called City on A Hill. The second ministry is an intentional community of young adult Catholics, and I am not aware of anything like it anywhere else. It is called the Meyer Catholic Quarter or MCQ. These ministries are models for work in other cities. Please share these videos with other people working in young adult ministry!
