The level begins with a Magikoopa shooting magic from its wand. Any magic shots hitting blocks will release enemies or maybe coins. Over a body of water, hit the P Switch to turn the coins into blocks. This door is a shortcut and leads to the checkpoint. If you took the path after a water pit, you’ll see fireballs lurking from the lava. In the next room, the floors and ceilings will be moving. There are Dull Bones and fireballs lurking out of the lava at some spots. Once you go far, enter the big red door. In the boss room, a fireball will be bouncing around the room. Lemmy Koopa is hiding in one of the pipes. Hit the right Koopa and you’ll get a hit. At Floccesy Ranch, go all the way northeast where you previously battled a Team Plasma Grunt and use Surf to reach an isle where a Hidden Grotto can be found. Enter this Hidden Grotto and you’ll sometimes encounter a special Dunsparce. It ranges between Levels 10-15. It also has the hidden ability, Rattled. With this ability, the user’s Speed stat increases when damaged by Bug, Ghost, or Dark type attacks.

At the start, you’ll see Buzzy Beetles, Goombas, and Koopas. Pass some pipes with Piranha Plants lurking and go down one of them to collect coins underground. Back on the surface, hit an invisible block by a Paratroopa and a garbage block above it for multiple coins. By a set of garbage blocks, hit one for a Star and you’ll see more enemies up ahead. After crossing over various holes, you’ll see a broken stairway that leads to the flagpole.

After you met a Rocket Grunt at the Cerulean City gym, go to Route 25 and meet Misty up the hill next to Bill’s former cottage. Misty will then return to the gym. Go back to the Cerulean City gym and trainers will fill the area. After you defeat them, go ahead and take on Misty. Misty uses Water type Pokémon. Golduck will use Psych Up to copy the target’s stat changes and Disable to revoke the target’s most recently used move. Quagsire will use Rain Dance to change the weather for 5 turns and Amnesia to sharply raise its special defense stat. Lapras will use Sing to put the target to sleep and Ice Beam for a 10% chance of freezing the target. Starmie will use Confuse Ray to confuse the target and Recover to restore its HP. After the battle, you’ll receive the Cascade Badge and a TM03 (Water Pulse). Water Pulse has a 20% chance of confusing the target.

After solving the mysteries in the Sealed Chamber, go to the west side of Route 105 and you’ll find the Island Cave. Read the visual braille message, which tells you to go one lap around the walls of the room then the way will open. Enter the room and you’ll see Regice. Save your game before you interact. Regice is on Level 40. It has a move called Superpower, which inflicts great damage but also lowers the user’s own Attack and Defense. Keep using Ultra Balls if you have any left.

Hit the P Switch to make coins appear in the room. Use the pipe ahead and hit the big yellow switch to make the yellow blocks that were previously blank, turn into hard yellow blocks. Hitting one of them releases a Mushroom.

Tate is one of the Hoenn Leaders in the Pokémon World Tournament that can be battled in either the Hoenn Leaders or World Leaders Tournaments. Tate is skilled in using Psychic type Pokémon. Solrock will use Trick Room to invert the speed order for 5 turns along with Rock Slide and Zen Headbutt to make targets flinch. Xatu will use Light Screen to weaken special attack damage for 5 turns. Bronzong will use Gyro Ball to strike faster foes. Reuniclus holds a Life Orb but the Magic Guard ability prevents damage when attacking. Gallade will use Night Slash and Psycho Cut for critical hits. Claydol will use Explosion when in danger. A move like Shadow Claw will easily bring down the opponents.

After stopping Team Rocket in a mysterious hideout below the shop in Mahogany Town, you’ll now be able to access the gym in Mahogany Town. This gym has icy floors that cause the person to skate until touching a clean floor. You’ll battle some trainers as you skate. Navigate the floors and you’ll battle the gym leader. Pryce uses Ice type Pokémon. Seel and Dewgong will use Headbutt to sometimes make targets flinch. They will even use Rest to fully recover when running out of HP. Piloswine will use Blizzard to cause massive damage and even freeze targets. After winning, you’ll receive the Glacier Badge and a TM16 (Icy Wind). Icy Wind causes damage and lowers the target’s Speed stat.

After your mission of stopping Team Galactic at Stark Mountain, go to the Survival Area where Buck is and he will return the Magma Stone. Go back to the deepest part of the cave in Stark Mountain and you’ll take on Heatran. Save your game before you interact with it. Heatran is on Level 70. Fire type moves are ineffective due to its Flash Fire ability. Dusk Balls would be recommended to capture it. If Heatran reaches Level 96, it will learn its signature move called Magma Storm. Magma Storm traps the target in swirling magma for 2-5 turns and prevents it from fleeing or switching out.
