TRAINS in EASTERN EUROPE are the Best!
Today I say goodbye to Budapest, I really fell in love with this city. Now I'm going to Poland, by train, but first a short stop in Bratislava, Slovakia. Traveling by train in Eastern Europe is an absolute pleasure. I spent most of my time on this trip in the dining car. Drinking a Czech Beer and eating delicious food. I even met some fellow Americans on the train. After lunch a took a walk through the train and you can see just how large it is. Next stop is Bratislava and then it's on to Poland tomorrow.

The Ostrów Tumski district of Wroclaw is home to the centerpiece of the city. It's the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. This gothic church has two large towers and can be seen from many parts of the city. It's absolutely gorgeous inside and you go up to the top of one of it's towers. Let me take you on a tour of this part of Wroclaw. Finally we will climb the tower, then take an elevator to the top. From here we will get the most amazing view of this beautiful Polish city. Our new friend Alvaro who we met on the car ride to Madrid, invited us to see where he lives. I turns out that he lives in one of Madrid's most hip and counter culture neighborhoods. This was the home of some of Spain's craziest bands and people during the Franco regime. It's where a whole crazy culture counter was born, it's pretty damn cool too. We met a crazy guy while filming, stopped for some pizza and even played some pinball at this cool bar. At the end of the night we came across this white van that had been completely covered in graffiti. I thought it was owned by some rock band, but the Chinese guy who was parking it said that the locals painted it that way. We could not help but laugh at the silliness of it all. We ate at the #1 Ranked Restaurant in Fuengirola according to Trip Advisor. It is called Kamasutra Indian Restaurant. The staff gave us unbelievable service here. We started off with a tasty appetizer, then we had several chicken curries including Bitter Chicken. I even tried some Indian beer called Cobra. Overall a fantastic experience and some of the best Indian Food I have ever eaten!

Let me take you on a tour of the Christmas lights in Malaga. I start in SOHO and make my way to the new Alameda street, it's been completely redesigned in the past year. The on to Larios street and the center of the Christmas lights. Over to the Cathedral and AC Malaga to see the beautiful trees and then finally to the Christmas Market. They were selling lots of toys, ornaments and tasty Christmas treats. I tried these Spanish Buñuelos with Chocolate. They are something between a Donut hole and a churro. Great Christmas special!

This little restaurant in Porto was a great find indeed. I ordered a glass of Reserve White Wine for 3 Euros to start. Then I asked for the Sea Bass and rice. When it arrived it looked and smelled heavenly. Flaky skin and all juicy tender white meat inside. I absolutely loved this dish and on the side I got a huge heaping of rice with tomato. I cannot believe how cheap this restaurant was and especially for the great quality. I finished with a Passion Fruit topped Cheese Cake. The whole bill came to 16 Euros, Porto is so cheap! #cheapfood #cheaptravel
