Here's an example of why Inversion is a label to keep an eye on: Aside from Xenofish signing up with them, and the fact that their music is free to download from their site, or voluntarily elsewhere, they're even encouraging music producers to send them demos.... *(SEE BENEATH TRACKLIST FOR DETAILS).* Aside from that, the music they showcase is musically emotive, euphoric, deep, and creative. They do other styles, but the top quality deep drum & bass is where they really shine. Unreal Worlds is a Liquid D&B mini compilation of some of the finest trax since the labels inception.

Classic anthem by Bruno Sanchioni, ⅓ of B.B.E ("7 Days and 1 Week"... which you can very easily tell if you play the 2 back2back)& Giuseppe Chierchia, a guy better known for that much sampled disco tune (the one in "Getting Jiggy With it" and "Don't call me Baby"... Ring a bell? Don't ask how I know that ... just... don't ok? ???).
Classed as *"the first trance tune ever made",* which it pretty much is, from way back in 1990. It sounded great then; great in 1992 when Jam & Spoon 's "Watch out for Stella" remix updated for the millions of new ravers (which I included because many ravers aren't aware that's not the original version), it's been great all the times it's been remixed, whether the old skool or the new versions (the only thing out of sync is the description of THIS Particular "age".
More "the age that needs love".
tracks:
Age of Love

Mark Skelton (no relation to Les...so they claim haha!) a more technical DJ. I'm officially on a bittersweet Niche Nostalgia-fest...And it's led me to this gem of a tune I've been searching for at about 48:00 I only heard it 3 times in my life 1996-2000, whenever I asked it was "IGA feeling" or more informatively "White label" by "Unknown". I apologize for the sound quality in the others, this ain't bad & the Danny Walker mix sounds great .
Merv Pepler in merciless DJ mode, in Helsinki. With a fast & furious set of severe bangin' acid techno & tech-trance. Explosive stuff!

Pete Tongs mix is suprisingly harder than I expected except that Godawful DJ Quicksilver tune. Altho mixing in with JX "close to your heart" makes up for it and makes for a sweet set finisher. Paving the way for Warren, who never lets up for a second, with an hour of deep, hard & funky tunes. Well mixed range of quality house & trance.
Essential? Yesiree!
(No tracklist yet but I know where to get 1, watch this space)
Call it Underground Music, Old Skool, Rave or even pop dance....
But there's no denying KLF carved out their own niche between 1988 & 1991, and had a very distinct style melodic and ear pleasing style; a mash up of acid, rave, rap and soul,.
This L.P sums it up nicely. More KLF tunes coming up, including a decent remix of my fave; "3am Eternal" and all the extended vinyl B-side/non-radio edits of "what time is love" & the rest.
For now though...FEEL THE NOSTALGIC EUPHORIA:

This is the remastered 2012, reissue from Oliver Lieb's more recent Solieb label, but the artwork on the original release is almost as good as the ecclectic conciousness teleportation sound labyrinth, sent from somewhere far beyond the speakers it seems to emerge from. Yep, another of O.L's secret I.D's is "..." (Because "The Ambush LP" is by no-one it's just called "The Ambush LP). It's impossible to categorize as each track mashes tribal perc & chants, with all manner of synths/electronic, ambient, analogue, and sampled sound FX, riffs, bass, beat patterns, and tempos. The number of tracks is irrelevant since it's meant to be a journey where time is obsolete, each track epic in it's own way opening track "Rain" alone 16min long (by the end not a f**k will be given).

THE AMBUSH, written and produced by Oliver Lieb, 1994 Harthouse
"Ease the Pressure" isn't too bad, or "Charged Up", but "Pressure Drop" is pretty friggin awful. Dogshit tbh! The reason I assume Bizaarre Inc sampled this & not vice versa is due to the fact that "Playing with Knives" is even today a timeless rave anthem, while this dross is immediately forgettable.
1. Ease The Pressure 3:28
2. Pressure Drop (Remix) 3:16
3. Charged Up 4:55
