For today's topic we are talking about how often should you workout each body part. Their are a lot of different scenarios we can talk about for athletic training, as far as how often should athletes train. (Jump training, speed training, etc.) But for today we are going to be specifically talking about strength training for athletes.
I talk in depth about how many days a week athletes need to strength train in the offseason as well as in season. Because looking at these different perspectives things are going to change quite a bit in our training.

For today's video I wanted to show you guys what is in my basketball bag. I mention in the video that I don't only use these things for basketball, but all of the things contribute and revolve around playing basketball, or weight training for basketball. I like to keep everything in one place because I never know what type of workout I will be doing for that day.

For this video I show you one of my favorite acceleration drills for your basketball first step. Most of the time basketball courts are not long enough for us to reach our top speed, so our acceleration in basketball is very important. A slow acceleration can be the reason for a slow sprint.
I show you 3 different variations of one drill that will help your sprinting technique, fast twitch fibers, reaction, and conditioning. Doing this drill once or twice a week will improve acceleration in now time!
