There are times, in your career, where you'll have to work under certain circumstances. One of these circumstances might be continuing the work of another software developer.
However, as I've talked before, software development is something like art. Every software developer has its own worflow and, the same code, can be written in two different ways if done by two different programmers.
So, let's say you're new at a company and they give you a code to work with written by another developer. What should you do? Should you stay consistent to this old code or should you write an entire new code?
These questions might be important because it will directly affect your entire performance at a company or even doing some freelancing work. And time is money.
Watch this video and find out if you should stay consistent to an old code or if you should focus on writing an entire new one.
