There are some emergency operations going on to help people. My thoughts my prayers go out to the people of Rockport Texas as well as Houston. I was born in Houston, lived there for some time and you know what's going on there is I think they said it's the worst natural disaster in recent history, in memory so we will definitely pray before we conclude this message that I have for you today. You know something that always comes up is when things so traumatic and so you know just just devastating like this hurricane occurs people will ask you know why is this happening? What's going on you know why and it inevitably it gets to and people say well why did GOD allow this to happen? Why did GOD do this or not do this We've got to understand and realize a truth that is quite unpopular and that is according to 2nd Corinthians 4:4 NLT it lets us know that Satan is the god (lowercase g) of this world that that means that Satan is the one who's in control the one who is sovereign on this planet that is one of the reasons why GOD had to send JESUS and we'll get to get to that in one moment. We've got to remember that when GOD The FATHER The Creator created this planet he gave Dominion to humans. (Genesis 1:26-28). Now Adam listened to his wife and she was deceived by Satan and by Adam disobeying GOD that was betrayal and that made GOD The FATHER no longer be Adam's GOD but it made Satan be Adam's god or the person that Adam obeyed. So that gave that Dominion of this planet to Satan. We have to understand and we see that JESUS was sent to this planet and we see in Matthew 28:16-20 when JESUS is Resurrected from the dead HE says all power was given to me therefore *you go* so in other words once again the power Dominion or what goes on in this planet is given back to humans we also have to realize that JESUS Himself was attacked by a storm while HE was selling on the sea now he spoke out of his mouth HE rebuked the storm and the storm went away so that lets us know there that just because something goes on in the environment that does not mean it's from GOD because there's no way that GOD would attack HIS Own SON with a weather event. I'm here to tell you today there's no way that GOD would attack his children with a hurricane or tornado whatever the case may be. In fact in 1st Kings 19:11-13 it goes through a list of natural disasters and it says GOD was not in it so it's a long list of disasters and it concludes by saying GOD didn't have anything to do with this so we've got to stop thinking that GOD is in control of everything on this planet God is in control of heaven GOD is a sovereign in Heaven. GOD's Will is being done in heaven but that's not happening here on the planet. You can look around and say that this is not the way that GOD wants things to be. 2nd Peter 3:8-10 it says that it's not GOD's will for that any should perish and we see that people are perishing every day unfortunately and we see that people are dying without knowing JESUS every day and excuse the wind and the rain. Looks like a small band that's coming back but I want to get this message out to you all. I can people say well that was JESUS that rebuked the storm and it went away. Read James chapter 5:13-18 the Bible talks about how Elijah was a human being just like me and you and he prayed and he was able to control the weather and the atmosphere. Now that's not done now why because it's not taught there's so many things so many supernatural empowerment's that JESUS has made available for us that it's not taught. If it's not taught then there's no Faith and we're not training in it and it's not done on the planet. So the point again is that Satan's to blame for all of this that's going on especially in the atmosphere in the weather. One last thing John 10:10 talks about how Satan is the destroyer and how GOD has come that we might have life abundantly so we see that this hurricane is destroying lots of things it's destroying people's lives.
