In 1911, she started working on the Olympic. Later, she was also on the Olympic's sister ship, the Titanic. But what is interesting is that Violet Jessop was one of the rare survivors of the Titanic disaster. Violet Jessop was serving on Titanic's maiden voyage in 1912. But when the ship hit the iceberg, Violet was among those on the life raft and was rescued. Later, during the First World War, when the other ship she worked on, the Britannic, was sunk by a submarine, she survived again. Violet Jessop was the sole survivor of the disastrous sinkings of all three sister ships - the Olympic, Titanic, and Britannic - during her time with the White Star Line. These events earned her the title of 'woman survivor.'"
