The series revolves around two teenage slackers: mechanic Coop and his best friend Jamie, who find a mecha robot from the future called Megas (Mechanized Earth Guard Attack System) in a New Jersey junkyard. Coop modifies Megas and replaces his head, the control center, with a classic muscle car, and names him XLR (eXtra Large Robot). Together with Megas's original pilot Kiva, they must defend Earth from the evil alien race called "the Glorft".

Originally, "The Jungle Book" was a dilogy, published on the years 1894 and 1895 and written by Rudyard Kipling. Composed by a collection of stories, echoing the autor's own childhood, the stories treat about fostering, law and freedom; the stories are not about animal behaviour, still less about the Darwinian struggle for survival, but about human archetypes in animal form, respect for authority, obedience, and knowing one's place in society with "the law of the jungle".

Adapted from the "FernGully" stories by Diana Young, the movie is set in an Australian rainforest inhabited by fairies, including Crysta, who accidentally shrinks a young logger named Zak to the size of a fairy. Together, they rally the fairies and the animals of the rainforest to protect their home from the loggers and Hexxus, a malevolent pollution entity.

Sony Pictures Entertainment acquired the filming rights On December 18, 2014, to remake the film on live action, to be directed by Robert Rodriguez.
