I understand that leaks are cool and that a lot of you guys want to stay up to date on NAVI GPU's. I mean , we're in need of AMD budget and high end Cards that fit all or our needs. But when the info comes from someone who then relays that info to someone else who then post's about it. And the info is about the sort of a successor of a product that doesn't exist yet, I can't in good conscience relay that to you without warning you that you need to swallow a very large amount of kosher salt. So what is this about? The rumor is about Navi 20, It's supposed to be the high end version of Navi 10 which are the next cards that we are waiting for from AMD. Navi 10 is supposed to include The RX 3070, 3080 etc and is supposed to knock boots with the RTX 2060 and 2070. Now the rumor about Navi 20, is that it will apparently be releasing next year and will compete with Nvidia's RTX 2080ti. It will also apparently have real time ray tracing which is kind of absurd to say. I'm sorry. AMD always made use of what is available and open like vulcan, DX12 or the game engine you're playing on. They never locked you out of a technology Like Nvidia's ray tracing. So to say that Navi GPU's will get ray tracing is absurd. It just means that either the cards will be powerful enough to perform real time ray tracing, which the Vega 56 already kinda proved it can Or that Navi 20 will make use of Ray tracing accelerators like RT cores on an RTX card which doesn't mean it will "Get" ray tracing. You see what I mean.
