A critique to an otherwise excellent presentation by Bryan Lunduke. https://lbry.tv/@Lunduke:e/LinuxSucks2020:b
My biggest regret with this video is that I am using the built-in microphone on this laptop, and the early i5 CPU does heat up enough for the fan to noticeably go full "bone conduction." My desktop PC would be a better setup for audio, however I do have a bit of package hell of my own custom demise while this laptop is quite vanilla. I also messed up my capture range in a very strange way. So there is that.
My mind went down a deep rabbit-hole from a single quote, which includes the equity problems in the supply chain that have peppered the news on occasion. I'll leave this as part of the description, but the plutocrats take advantage of us in different ways where our own choices can make an impact on what big tech (or any industry) decide to pitch to us. We pay comparatively little, but the true cost is still paid by someone.
This was very harsh to record, and despite all the timeline left on the editing floor, I still stumbled through it. I'm very not used to this. By the way, this is the third off-topic because the second is still sitting as a script. I found this one more important to get out the door today.

A scraped-together contribution for Louis Rossmann (even though I am not a small business owner).

Still awkward, but at least written out.
Plan to categorize videos by:
* NWC (new world computing) - What we use day-to-day have timesaving features we may not realize
* SWF (sycophant workflows) - Where I learn about tools (often old ones) that save me time
* OBP (odd-ball projects) - Building, repairing, showcasing and ultimately thrashing - for "fun"
* OTS (off-topic stuff) - Random ramblings ond other natters
