As an American Student Living in Germany on Exchange for one year, these are 5 things I noticed that are taboo, weird, or illegal in America, that were normal in Germany. With that being said, "5 Random Comparisons between Germany and America that roughly relate under one theme" is perhaps a more accurate title. Unfortunately, that wouldn't be as catchy. What happened was, I started writing a list of things that would are taboo in America but normal in Germany and I didn't realize that as the list grew, it got more and more off a central topic.
