Building the 1:24 scale "Summertime Cottage" by Mayberry Street miniatures Part 1 - Kitchen Cabinets
Hello! Welcome to Crafty Aims Workshop. My name is Amy, and I am hoping my videos inspire you to craft a masterpiece.
Today's video, we finally begin the series of building the "Summertime Cottage" by Mayberry Street Miniatures. So have a seat and see how I navigate through this beautiful miniature with these small fat fingers of mine. This is a 1:24 scale miniature. There will be multiple videos on this set, so keep a look out for more videos to come!

I like crafting with a variety of supplies, including but not limited to paper, clay, yarn, fabrics, cardboard, nature, paints, pens, pencils, markers, .... and the list goes on.
Please follow along on my journey as I learn some new things as well. I am what some would call "The Jill of all trades and master of none." I am pretty good at everything but I just am not 100%. I hope someday that will change, but until then...
My goal is to inspire even the most un-artsy of us. Hey fellow crafters! So sorry for this coming late. Loading issues.
In this video I show you how to decorate a terra cotta pot with polymer clay and planting a Venus' Flytrap in the pot with tips on its care. Hope you enjoy.
Materials used:
- variety of polymer clay (Fimo, Premo Sculpey, and Kato Polyclay
- Translucent Liquid Sculpey (To soften clay)
- E6000 glue
- hot glue
- Super glue (I don't recommend this because it dries white.)
- Diamond Flecto Varathane Varnish
- Venus Flytrap from Lowes
- Sphagnum peat moss ( get the plain no- nutrient kind. I got the wrong one.
