Some poorly designed light fittings, which take 38W 2D lamps. The battery pack for the emergency function cannot be accessed without dismantling the entire thing which requires that it is removed from the ceiling first.

MR16 halogen lamps with two types of reflectors - dichroic and aluminium.
With a dichroic reflector, most of the heat is emitted from the back of the lamp. These should NOT be used in downlight fittings, as they will cause overheating.
Dichroic lamps are designed for use in display lighting, where the lamp is in an open fixture so that the heat can be dissipated, and the beam of light does not heat up the object it is illuminating.
For use in downlights and other room lighting applications, aluminium reflectors should be used, so that most of the heat is emitted from the front. This will avoid the fitting overheating, which will cause damage and possibly a fire.
Plenty of retailers and websites describe these lamps incorrectly, so it is best to check the lamp itself using the simple method shown in the video.

A metal 4 way consumer unit, probably from the 1960s, with Lupus Midget circuit breakers. A fairly unusual item even then, as the majority of installations from that era had fuses rather than circuit breakers.

Attaching 8P8C plugs to CAT5e cable.
Some additional things that may not be in the video but have been mentioned in various comments:
Plugs and cable must be of the same type, in this case CAT5e solid core cable and CAT5e plugs for solid core.
If flexible leads were required that will be moved often, stranded cable would be a better choice. The cable and plugs in the video were purchased for an installation of IP CCTV cameras, which are installed once and never move again, so solid core was used for those.
For a fixed installation it would be more usual to have wall sockets, however for the CCTV system mentioned, the cameras have sockets on short leads, so the installed cabling has a plug which connects directly to the camera. The recorder unit has sockets so the other end of the cable plugs directly in to that.

Problems when installing a metal consumer unit on a TT supply (those with an earth rod / electrode).
Due to the high earth loop impedance on TT supplies, a fault between line and earth will not cause sufficient current flow to blow the supplier's fuse. This would result in all of the metalwork within the installation becoming live, with a serious risk of electric shock.
Previously, an RCD in an insulated enclosure would be used before a metal consumer unit to disconnect the supply if such a fault occurred. However as BS7671:2008 Amd3 requires that consumer units and similar enclosures are 'non-combustible', i.e. metal, this is no longer an option.
