In this video we go hack up The Fender Champion 600 and convert it's specs to a (PCB) 5F1 Tweed Champ.
This mod is fairly easy to do with basic soldering skills and experience in working on electrical gear.
We go step by step and listen what a great sound we get after! It's a dirt cheap way to have the amp you actually wanted in the first place!

CONCLUSION:
The sounds that The Fender Champion 600 amp can deliver in this configuration, even with it's PCB design and otherwise stock components makes you wonder why no low-budget tweed version wasn't available in the first place. Especially when we see we mainly need to cut parts out and simplify the thing. I do would like to state that the stock amp sounds good on it's own and I might do a proper A-B comparison between both. Therefore keeping a stock one is also an idea, or make the tone stack mod switchable. But, I do imagine most recording and touring guitarists would go for the more desirable tone, harmonics and responsiveness of a tweed amp, no?

IMHO, which means feeling attached to a appears to be free from attachment to anything subjective: Fender Brownface Deluxe might be a real treasure in the realm of hip vintage guitar amps. The sounds it can deliver really range from deep sweet mellow Fender Princeton cleans to gnarly Marshall bite and rawness. Thick Jazz cardboard cleans, crispy 3D warmth and sparkle This amp can do it all but actually does it really well and doesn't compromise! This thing is going to sit in a mix beautifully as I'd love to demonstrate later as proper soundcheck is coming up. This is quick and dirty. Oh yeah, dirty it is...
At the moment of writing this, the cabinet isn't ready yet, but looks so damn cool that I might leave it as it is. Unfinished, looking dirty and shabby. With a own coffee-stained grill-cloth. It's just how I work.?
