Jim Goetz of Functionised took the FIT Lab at Functionised and did an experiment to test cellular resiliency from a performance perspective. The hypothesis was that with a greater number of ketones present in the blood, a human will be able to hold their breath longer under water.
A baseline heart rate variability reading was taken by Chantea Goetz PhDs, MS and HRV readings were taken during the experiment was well.
The first trial Jim Goetz had 0.1 mm/L ketones present in his blood. His results are seen here.
The next two trials will go more in depth of what to expect.
