Il tredicesimo piano (The Thirteenth Floor) è un film del 1999 diretto da Josef Rusnak, con Craig Bierko, Armin Mueller-Stahl, Gretchen Mol e Vincent D'Onofrio. Il film è ispirato al romanzo Simulacron 3 di Daniel F. Galouye
Film predittivo, al pari di 1984, di fantapolitiche svolte della società futura, sottolinea lo strapotere mediatico assunto dal mezzo televisivo. In tutta la vicenda l'onnipresente schermo casalingo costringe la popolazione a una ebete sudditanza nei confronti del potere. I libri, sovversivi per definizione, a meno che non siano come da normativa, non stampati, costituiscono una possibile via di fuga verso nuovi orizzonti
Girato dal 12 gennaio al 22 aprile 1966 nei Pinewood Studios e nei dintorni di Londra, fu proiettato in pubblico per la prima volta il 16 settembre 1966. Il film fu trasmesso per la prima volta dalla televisione italiana nel 1971.
Killswitch è un film documentario incentrato sulla battaglia per il controllo di Internet. Il film è una collaborazione tra il regista Ali Akbarzadeh, il produttore Jeffrey Horn, lo scrittore Christopher Dollar e Akorn Entertainment.
Il film sugli orrori dell'Europa e del MES in Grecia. Il film è stato oggetto di boicottaggio in Germania, dove la distribuzione è stata tacitamente bloccata, ma soprattutto di una grave interferenza politica dal momento che la realizzazione dell’opera fu “caldamente sconsigliata” al regista direttamente da Klaus Regling, potentissimo direttore del MES, in un incontro avvenuto a Parigi.
Ultima fatica del regista greco Costa-Gavras, da anni in volontario esilio in Francia. Questo film è una fedele e asciutta ricostruzione dei drammatici eventi che precedettero la disfatta greca del luglio 2015 con la firma del memorandum, adattamento delle memorie di Yanis Varoufakis, all’epoca dei fatti ministro delle finanze ad Atene e vero protagonista della disperata resistenza greca ai diktat inflessibili dei creditori.
Il film, presentato fuori concorso a Venezia nel 2019, è stato oggetto di un controverso boicottaggio in terra tedesca, dove la distribuzione è stata tacitamente bloccata, ma soprattutto di una grave interferenza politica dal momento che la realizzazione dell’opera fu “caldamente sconsigliata” al regista direttamente da Klaus Regling, potentissimo direttore del MES, in un incontro avvenuto a Parigi, e da funzionari della Repubblica Federale Tedesca.
Il film, di difficile reperibilità e ostracizzato dalle sale tedesche, è un documento molto importante sull’operato delle istituzioni politiche e finanziarie europee.

"Nel 2000 non sorge il sole" (il titolo originale è semplicemente "1984" ma vai a capire perchè lo hanno cambiato) è un film del 1956 diretto da Michael Anderson, ispirato al romanzo di fantascienza distopica 1984 di George Orwell. Si tratta della prima versione cinematografica del capolavoro di Orwell, successiva alla versione televisiva (sempre britannica) per la BBC che un paio d'anni prima aveva riscosso successo e polemiche.
