There is a special relationship between the measures of the interior angles of a triangle. The sum of the 3 angles will always be 180 degrees, no matter the shape or size of the triangle. We draw a triangle, label the vertices, cut it out. By tearing off each corner of the triangle, we arrange the vertices around a point to show they form a 180° straight line. We introduce the Triangle Sum Theorem. The interior measures of a triangle are supplementary. There can only be one right angle in a triangle, so the sum of the other 2 acute angles are complimentary.
