We left off last time on the archipelago of Haida Gwaii, 80 miles west of mainland British Columbia. We pick back up on Haida Gwaii where we explore some places that left a lasting impression on our hearts and souls.
Our time there concludes our travels in the summer of 2018. From there we cover the story of what happened to our beloved yellow Troopy.

After spending a few weeks camping in the Tetons and working from a ridge in the forest, we made tracks south and west to Salt Lake City, Utah. While there, we visit a parts supplier for our #LandCruiser #TroopCarrier and then head to a museum to gawk at the vehicles that were instrumental in inspiring us to buy a Land Cruiser in the first place. After that, we head to the Pacific Northwest and encounter an adventure or two along the way.

Hello all! Thanks for all the lovely comments this season!
All episodes in our catalog have had ads turned off. After a lot of deliberation, we've decided we'd like to be as independent as possible from the ad targeting schemes these popular platforms employ. There are a number of reasons for this but one of our primary ones is that we'd like to maintain as much control over what is presented on our channel as is possible. So, we've opted to shut off ads generated by YouTube.
We've also removed all affiliate links and affiliate marketing both here and on our website (though admittedly there are likely still some links there bearing an affiliate tag). Again, we want to be as independent from these platforms as possible without siloing ourselves off in some obscure corner of the internet where audiences are sparse and usability is limited.
And—other than a few episodes in this season which were edited and upload over a year ago and shared on our Patreon—we have also opted out of sponsorships, brand affiliations, or any sort of deal where we get gear in exchange for our promotion. I believe in the next episode (going public April 18) we highlight KC HiLites for their providing us with pretty rad lighting for the Troopy. That's the only one this season and it will be the last one we do on an exchange basis.
That being said, what this means is we're asking you,—our dear viewers—to support our efforts here directly through either subscribing to our Patreon account* or making a few purchases on our website of the merchandise we sell there. This kind of relationship keeps out third parties interested in tracking you and tailoring your experiences online so as to keep each of us locked into a consumptive, distracted loop.

Season 4 Episode 18
After visiting the Kenai Peninsula, we drive the #LandCruiser #Troopy onto a ferry in Whittier and head to Valdez, Alaska. From there we drive alongside the Lifestyle Overland crew en route east towards the Yukon. The scenery is jaw dropping and the drive ends up being a time of creating a long lasting friendship amongst our caravanning party.

After nearly a month in Baja, the Live Work Wander crew points their compass north and begin the long trek back to the US. The journey was rife with mechanical setbacks and what should've taken 4 days took 6 to reach the border. Along the way sea turtles are released, a tarantula is found, and two hombres resort to solving their problems with fists.

It also—hopefully—forestalls equating or associating "overland" travel with Gucci gear for those sexy 'Gram snaps. Yeah, we're guilty of that but we're trying to change that for ourselves. Instead of playing that all too common game, what we hope to create is a relationship between ourselves and you that is more intimate and authentic, where we deal with each other honestly and openly, exchanging value for value directly.
If you just wanna watch videos without supporting us, that's ok too. We're glad you're here.
As stated last time, all the episodes in Season 4 took place in 2018. That'll be a problem for some people as it seems an awful lot of folks want a front row seat to our adventures in real time. That kind of content creation or anything in that vein is not what we're about or ever will be. We film, we sit on the footage, we live our lives, then we create and share when the time is right. Anything else resides in conflict with what we want out of this project. We hope you'll find the grace to accept how we d

The solar and hot water mods that have been added to this van over the last few years have been kitted and installed by Kevin at VeeDub Day Spa. Check him out on Instagram @VeeDubDaySpa

In this episode the untamed, wild and delectably handsome Jorge and his crew of misfits (Jessica, Linus, Petunya and Ripley) head to Toroweap Point. After Jorge suffers a crushing blow to his manliness from fear induced by heights, he and his band of pirates leave behind the Grand Canyon and they head to Moab, Utah where Ripley the Syncro's shift linkage is fondled endlessly by multiple hands and then she hits the trails for some wheelin'. Someone sings Encarnacion, someone else says "Oh my god", and finally the crew learns a new game.

In this episode, the LiveWorkWander crew surprises their friends in Atlanta who are getting ready to hit the road in their #AirstreamCamper They also add some much needed storage to their #Toyota4Runner.
And finally, they write this video description in the third person so that it sounds like they had an unpaid intern create all this content.

We left off last time hanging out with the Lifestyle Overland crew up in Alaska. In this episode we start off en route to Prince Rupert, British Columbia some 1400km away from where we were previously, and this time, we’re hopping on an 7hr ferry heading west to visit the stunning archipelago of Haida Gwaii.
