How to Simplify a Complex Fraction | (x/2)(xy/6) | Part 3 of 4 | Minute Math
In this video we learn how to simplify a complex fraction. We simplify the complex fraction (x/2)(xy/6).
The steps we follow to simplify a complex fraction are: 1) Rewrite the complex fraction as a division problem. 2) Follow the rules for dividing fractions. 3) Simplify if possible.
Have you ever noticed that when you multiply a even number by 6 you get the same last digit as the even number? Why is that? We prove this using induction. If you have another way to prove this or found an error in our proof, please let us know in the comment section.

Mean Value Theorem. Find the values of c that satisfy the Mean Value Theorem of y=-(-5x+25)^(1/2) [3, 5]. We learn how to determine if the Mean Value Theorem can be applied to y=-(-5x+25)^(1/2) [3, 5]. If it can, we find all values of c that satisfy the theorem. If it cannot, we explain why not. We learn how to apply the Mean Value Theorem to a function. We first determine if the Mean Value Theorem can be applied. If it can not be applied, we state why. If the Mean Value Theorem can be applied, we first take the derivative of the function. We then set the derivative equal to (f(b)-f(a))/(b-a) and solve for x. Once we get these values we determine which ones are within our bounds of the problem. These values are the values of c that satisfy the Mean Value Theorem. This is a great introduction into the Mean Value Theorem. This is under the topic of Applications of Differentiation with this free online math video lesson. #MeanValueTheorem #findthevalueofc #ApplytheMeanValueTheorem #MVT #derivatives #calculus #calculushelp #minutemath #minutemathhelp #onlinemathlessons
