What Can I Do To Help Ocean Fish In The Mangrove Forest?
Mangroves protect coastal areas from erosion, storm surge, and tsunamis. Mangrove forests provide breeding and feeding grounds for fish, prawns, birds, and some mammals. They form the base of an important food chain based on detritus and as a shelter for young fish and invertebrates. Today I continue my journey to rescue sea creatures in fish weirs with a donation of $100 from Ms. Kim Tham and some friends. The best time to catch fish weirs is in shallow water. This time, I went with two fishermen whom I had asked to care for Tini, a three-year-old otter that I had rescued. After they raised her as an adult, otter Titi found a mate in the mangrove forest on a fishing trip with them, and she no longer follows them. Within ten years, I returned all 57 small-clawed otters to this mangrove forest. My house was surrounded by forests ten years ago, but I have been doing environmental activities all over the world, and when I returned here, it changed dramatically. Perhaps if I had focused on protecting the forest land around here ten years ago, wild animals would not have lost so much habitat. Is there still time for everyone to donate $3 to Patreon to save the mangroves? Mangroves are vital to the environment because they absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen five times more than other forests and serve as a nursery for all living things. Otters are the kings of the mangroves, but they are nearly extinct due to human consumption and sale as pets. They also perish in the mangroves as a result of overfishing by humans, who use electric fishing boats to slaughter all aquatic life. They wiped out saltwater crocodiles as well. I've been here for a year, rescuing sea creatures every day, but I've never seen a crocodile in the wild. But, thankfully, I found a baby otter to be a friend, whom I named Titi. He swam with me begging for food during a swim to pick up trash in the mangrove forest about 7 kilometers from my house, so I took Titi home to take care of him and teach him survival skills in the wild. In addition, I train ordinary dogs to become merdogs, allowing them to swim freely in the water and assisting me in saving the mangroves and protecting the otter Titi from poachers. If you want to help me, please subscribe to this YouTube channel; I will try to do many informative mangrove lessons for you.
